Played almost an hour on my ps5 thus far. It looks clear and runs buttery smooth. I haven’t run across any ridiculous bugs yet. It’s missing ray tracing and I’m sure some other things but it looks great unlike the PS4/XBO footage I saw which looks like playstation VR. Definitely recommend waiting until you get a next-gen system to play this game. It’s enjoyable and will be even better once that next-gen patch comes out
You’re joking right? I tried building a high end gaming PC and it was not even close to $1500. A high end graphics card is $800 alone. Never mind the motherboard, CPU, RAM, SSD, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Power Supply, Case, Cooling, Audio options..... please don’t sound so misinformed. If you you a high end gaming PC that you’re upgrading sure, $1000. If you need all new components and your monitor isn’t remotely new.....it’s far more.
Boy I hope they get Forza out before Fall 2021 or Microsoft is going to spend the next 11 months just talking. Sony fanboys will feast on this
What? I don’t think anyone is getting “suckered” into buying a PS5. Also if anyone is a real Gran Turismo fan they will buy a PlayStation for it no matter what. It has a major cult following.
Pros and Cons of both...but consoles have definitely caught up with next-gen. I never felt like when the PS4/Xbox One launched they were close. Times are definitely changing. PC still has the hardware advantage though...but for me, the games don’t come close to consoles and that is the most important thing here.
I agree. They really botched this. There’s a chance Sony could have Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Ratchet & Clank, Destruction AllStars, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Deathloop and Gran Turismo 7 before Microsoft gets their first big exclusive with Horizon and God of War coverage heating up for 2021 also. Momentum is going to swing fast and people don’t even realize it
Oh my bad I scrolled and it was the first after two 2021’s. Nonetheless...making a “stacked” list for 2021 and beyond and your list only having 2 potential 2021 exclusives isn’t very promising. Anyone can make a new console list and say “damn the next two years are stacked! Here’s a list” I hope Microsoft comes roaring back. 360 was truly one of my favorite consoles but Xbox one was awful. They need 2021 to be strong or they’re going to be left in the dust quickly. They simply cannot afford...
Why would anyone label Fable as 2021? Just to pad the list I guess. There’s no way that game is coming next year. “Stacked” is TBD
Which means you won’t see any games til the second half of this gen life cycle. It’s going to be a long wait....hope they turn out good.
This list....lol.
Modern Warfare and it’s not even close.
Late reviews at a console launch aren’t a bad idea. Considering most people don’t have the console yet and many are getting wrapped under a Christmas tree
Demon's Souls, without a doubt is a next gen experience..... Honestly so is Astro's Playroom.
Not quite the same.
Because if someone just bought a $500 console instead of a gaming rig....perhaps that’s where their preferred mode of gaming is? I am one of those people....there’s many benefits to waiting for a next-gen version.... 1) many patches for big bugs 2) Better graphics 3) better load times 4) you get to wait for real long term impressions of the game before diving in with your hard earned money.
Those reasons plus not wanting to spend $3-4000 on a gaming rig (from scratch) is my...
Digital gaming is very much so the minority still at this point. You see everyone posting pics of their launch bundles? I don't see pictures of consoles with no games....nearly every photo involves a disc version of launch titles.
I agree. Mortal Kombat has surpassed street fighter for my fighting itch. Capcom has alot of work to do for SF6.
Smart Delivery is only going to be talked about for the first year of this generation max.... thats simply a backwards compatibility marketing term. Sony doesn't need Smart Delivery, they have this without a silly marketing term. PS4 games are upgrading to PS5 versions. Quick Resume is also only a useful feature for two things A) Digital Copies of games B) If you have / heavily roll with GamePass. If you like disc versions this again is a useless feature as you cant quickly swap games...
This is very different from the joycon as an owner of both the PS5 and Switch. The Triggers are the major point for me much more than the various haptics (which are very good and better than the HD Rumble of the switch). The triggers need to be experienced to be understood...nothing like it. As Brett also said, the features of the joycon didn’t even make it to the pro controller which is how many people play their switch outside of handheld mode.
Oh let it go. TLOU2 is easily one of the best games ever made. You don’t have to like the story and outcomes, but literally every other aspect was basically perfect from a graphics, music, voice acting, gameplay, and polish standpoint.
