I am almost positive they will announce a Perfect Dark 3 along with a release date for the XBLA version of the original. Goldeneye and Conker are pipe dreams, though. Modern Warfare was my last COD game for a long time. The crap has gotten old. Activision's constant spamming of these every year and terrible post launch support has pretty much killed the series. I just have an Xbox 360 which I got in August. I like it but there are times that I wish I had a PS3, I really want to play Socom, MAG, Killzone 2, and Uncharted. But, I don't have the time to play both or money as a college student to buy a PS3.
Socom is the only game out there like that. 99% of people use headsets, teamwork, call out enemy players, and play competitive as all hell. I think it has to do with the fact that you can vote people out and matches are only non-respawn so it forces you to play tactically. I wish that the 360 would get a game like that. I am talking about a tactical, realistic, non respwawn shooter...could be first person or third person I don't care.
Even though the campaign was short, I am not gonna lie...it was awesome. It was chock full of huge, exciting set pieces, and the level of tension and suspense coupled with epic music made it an unforgettable ride but 4-5 hours is pretty damn sad, and like you said the online is an unholy mess. I hate how they didn't fix issues from CoD4. There is no reason to have the godawful matchmaking and server problems this time around also. Yeah it is weird, yesterday I watched a 7 minute video of single player footage which looked pretty damn good but I would imagine that was from a high end PC and/or they dumbed down the graphics online. Because it certainly didn't look nowhere near as good as that footage.

I am not sure how Rock Band works but you can download content that you paid for an unlimited amount of times on the same console. Just go to your Account Management and then your download history.
It sucks big horse gonads for two reasons:
1.) You can't just by the exact amount, for example map packs are always 800 points but yet I am forced to buy 1000 since Microsoft only has it set at 500, 1000, 2000, 5000. So that means for the next map pack, I will AGAIN have to buy 1000 because I will have 200 left over but buying a 500 will not be enough. See have unfair/lame/not cool this sheet is? They do it on purpose and sometimes you get left with an uneven amount like 40 or 60...
Totally agree with ya. Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Halo 3, and Modern Warfare where all much better both in terms of story, content, and multiplayer. I thought the first Battlefield was like a 6/10 at best and that is being generous.
Modern Warfare 1 and 2 are good but certainly overrated but with that said. Battlefield Bad Company wasn't any better, in fact I'd said it was worse. I mean come on guys, there was 1 friggin' game mode and only like 8 maps for crying out loud! And don't get me started on the single player, the story was terrible, the jokes painfully unfunny, the characters all stereotyped...the tough black sarge from the movie Aliens, the nerdy/goofball soldier, the guy looking to find his place in the world,...
Even though I personally don't care about leaderboards ( I know I'll never get even in the top 1 million), it really bugs me that Infinity Ward won't fix the hacked leaderboards. It just shows total laziness and disregard for quality. Glad to know BC2 will be getting better support between the dedicated servers and hack protection.
