I hate Sam Raimi with a passion, he has got to be the cheesiest filmmaker on the planet and like George Lucas, he abuses CGI. The action scens in the Spider-Man movies sucked so hard because of that. It felt like a video game, with no sense of danger or peril. He gives McG, Stephen Sommers, and Brett Ratner a run for their money. Raimi is a total no talent hack with no style or ability to tell a great story. I can't tell you how many times I cringed while watching the three sucka$$ Spider-Man...
LOL, some of those were really great. Good way to start the mornin'!
@ 1.8 Here is what that dude is talking about.

I will grabbing these along with the CoD 5 maps, and the Burnout Paradise Island. WOOT! CAN'T WAIT!
Seriously...of all the games out there to pick from, they choose Terminator Salvation, one of the most panned games this generation. WHY?!?!?
The only thing you are missing is the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2. It is confirmed by Treyarch/Activision to be coming this week for $9.99.
"Although the PS3 has exclusive videos about refurbishing Ecto-1 and the Blu-ray release of the first movie..."
Does that mean the PS3 version has the Ghostbusters movie on the disc too? Or is it a trailer. Cause if it has the movie too, then I will definitely buy it, otherwise it is a rental.
Whoever doesn't own this and has a PS3 needs to buy this. NO EXCUSES!!!!
Dude, it ain't gonna happen. They would have done it by now and with MGS: Rising in the works for three platforms and MGS: Peace Walker for the PSP, I'd say Kojima Productions' is swamped with work.
Yeah I noticed this too when I watched the PSN video on the store the other day. I hadn't been following it to much, but I think it looks pretty cool after seeing the trailer and pics. I like how it is like a Japanese spin of the Gears of War series (<---one of the best games this gen).
The Wii is still selling well so there is no need for a price cut there.
The 360 is already low as all hell at $199, so no cut needed.
The PS3, yeah this one I agree with. $399 is crazy when your competition is so much lower. They make it seem like it is the Mercedes of consoles. Sure it may have the most features, free online play, blu-ray, and wi-fi but to the casual people all they see is that initial $399 price tag. (But being the rich bastard I am, I bought on l...
You didn't have to pre-order it. My Aunt went into Walmart on Sunday (LOVE HER!) and bought it for my Birthday. It just has to have the beta sticker on the cover. If you didn't buy it yet, you can still get it.
Edit: Ah, that is a bummer. Sorry, mate.
The only thing that drives me bonkers is when you hold the PS Button to quit game even when all they way out on the main menu, it reboots the PS3 after doing that insanely annoying, *BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*. I know it will be fixed eventually, being a beta and all but I am afraid it will hurt my PS3. So until then, I am not playing it until it is fixed or someone from Sony or Naughty Dog says it is safe. Damn good game though.
Activision needs to realize that oversaturation of the franchise is going to kill it early. They should have just dropped Treyarch from developing it, and have Infinity Ward develop it on a 2 year cycle.
It is supposedly $10. But yeah from what I read too, it is the Ebgames/Gamestop pre-order bonus.
I played the demo and thought it was a ton of fun. Lunging at enemies and slashing' them to bits with blood squirting everywhere was awesome. I didn't buy it though, but I really should as I really liked it. I just wound up getting Infamous instead. It is cool they are rolling out DLC for it.
CoD 4 had the revolutionary Xp style ranking with unlockable guns, gear, attachments, a sprint mechanic, the perk system, and classes. It redefined the FPS genre and clearly every FPS released now tries to copycat the formula. Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Battlefield Bad Company, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2 owe a majority of their online set-up to CoD4. As for MW 2, I can't comment on that yet, since I have only seen a trailer with campaign footage.
Edit: unlockable guns, you tool. Ther...
I love how everyone is bashing this guy for stating the opinion of a game that none of you have yet to play. Seriously, for all you know this game could suck. Just cause it has a ton of players doesn't mean it will be good...
Epic said that Unreal Engine 4 is being used for next next-gen consoles and that only Epic Games' founder, Tim Sweeney was the only one working on it, so I doubt this game uses that one. My guess is that, if this turns out to be true, mind you, that it will be a heavily beefed up build of Unreal Engine 3.
Great game to play since it has a mature and competitive community. But it still doesn't change the fact that it is a poorly made game, though
Menu's lag terribly
Super long load times (90 seconds plus) for a game with a mandatory 3 gig install and mediocre graphics, is unacceptable
