Anti consumer would be giving a handful of exclusives all gen.
Sony has given a tremendous amount of award winning and critically acclaimed titles to the consumer.
I've yet to see anything anti consumer from Sony. What MS is doing is their thing but they weren't doing this before so therefore Sony not following suit is not anti consumer.
?
They already announced starfield and tes6. Those will be multiplat
I do hope they all stay multiplat. Gotta earn that money back someway.
@teflon
Your definition of GAAS is flawed.
That would mean the witcher 3 is GAAS because of the expansions.
Evolving games dont been GAAS. Monetization throughout a game is what I view as part of the gamepass GAAS model
Well the new bethesda, already announced games, will not be service based. Anything after that may be very different.
The term out of touch is very out of touch with reality as well...You do know this right? Surely you must.
It's used in the wrong way. Out of touch with what? What they're doing is intentional not out of touch.
It might already be backwards compatible. The issue here is the expectation of older titles getting a free upgrade...
If that's the new expectation then the majority of remasters should be free.
Well ...are we all getting next gen versions of all triple A released in 2018?
Dropping the price before release!
Lol
Though it has happened before...coming from MS is just priceless.
Quantic dream would make sense. Kohima would be a good investment as well.
I'm actually pumped for returnal
Your logic fails as this is a news site. Your accusing him of reading gaming news? It is a good thing to be informed you know.
@ziggurcat...
have you seen the european prices?? Euro is worth more and yet its more expensive...does not make any sense.
After all the trash talking we will hear so much more of it once next gen games are not in 4k/60fps
Well did you guys make a stand?
The price will always be whatever they can get away with. Unfortunately casuals may not be as inclined to boycott $70 games
These companies make a shit ton already off of $60 so there's absolutely no reason to increase the price.
It'll just be less affordable for money. Parents will not be happy once they step into stores and see the new price.
I'll never buy full price.and will be less likely to support devs that implement this price no matter who it is...I will buy their game cheap and used.
Id prefer they not buy studios...how about opening new ones.
The latter adds to the industry whereas the former robs consumers.
Considering games sell lots more on playstation I think they have a good relationship with all devs
Ive been saying this for a while. Compared to xbox digital store, the playstation store has new sales all the time sometimes multiple sales at the same time.
Im more against digital on the xbox side because of their store than the playstation.
But microsoft found a solution for it. Gamepass. Monthly subscription.
Love these sales...but I tend to wait even longer because I dont buy new games unless im done with the ones I already have. Unless some...
Because it happened last time and will happen next time. Completely unnecessary panic. Everyone claims to have huge backlogs...why not take it easy and catch up...after your done you will easily find a ps5
