The focus not being THE gotham knights is already the first sign of something horrible headed our way.
Why not make a game about the awesome wonder woman instead.
No console does the same as everyone else.
The exclusion of 3rd party does not make it unique.
1st Party makes a console unique and last I checked all consoles have that.
So that is the point.
Regardless of sales my point still stands. If you can only afford one console most likely would not choose Nintendo. Not because their exclusives are bad but because that is all that they have. This means you miss out on about 95% of gaming experie...
Well what about the Xbox SS and Xbox SX.
Microsoft will be competing with itself, graphically.
And since its their own console theyll have to make sure every one of their games scales down properly and possibly limiting the potential of their exclusives on the Xbox SX.
Nintendo does compete.
In many respects they have lost quite seriously.
Few buy a Nintendo console for any of the triple A multiplatform games. That is usually bought for either the playstation or the xbox.
If I have to choose to own only one console I would buy playstation first. Then afterwards, depending on the qaulity of future exclusives, I would go for the xbox. Last of all I would purchase the Nintendo console.
But if Xbox fails w...
Silly article.
Console war is the term used to represent the competition in the console market.
No different then the existing competition in sports or graphic cards or any other area.
Console wars end the moment there is only one console standing...and in that case the consumers will likely be screwed.
Console wars should never end just as sports competitions shouldn't.
Theyre not light. At least not playstation.
As always playstation brings games every year. They usually have a few outstanding games every 12 months.
Xbox has halo that may end up disappointing tremendously and then they have games to be released several years later.
Meanwhile playstation will be releasing amazing games every single year without fail.
BF 5 is not a next gen game...
Xbox brand should be careful. They can easily be viewed as a company similar to EA or Activision that buys studios and then runs them to the ground.
Like with lion head and rare.
Nobody really likes a company that's going around throwing money to buy off the competition either so public perception is at risk too.
You'd be doing yourself a disservice for not buying an S.
The S is xboxs main console for next gen.
Getting the x is great and all but until we see performance reviews of games running on S it may be a complete waste to invest on the X this coming gen. Simply because the exclusives won't really take real advantage of the X
You can go did less with the playstation and be first the same quality as the other version.
This should have been a thing from the start.
Games used to have in-game unlockables through meeting certain requirements aka achievements/trophies.
Thank you Sony to finally bringing it back
The solution is fairly simple. Go to your trusted reviews. Then go to a bunch of other reviews.
The next step is looking up some gameplay.
If there is anything at all that gives you pause then you should wait for a deal. That way you at least pay very little for a game you're not sure you'll like.
Sometimes you're looking for a certain itch and you may not be able to scratch it with any current game.
Stop playing ...
A stable frame rate is where it's at. What they claim it runs at doesn't always mean it's steady
For some stamina management is part of the challenge that requires brain power.
For others it appears that it bears to much of a burden on their puny brains and would prefer to button smash
For me any dev that chooses to raise the price is proof for me that I shouldn't support them.
That goes for any developer...including the amazing devs from Sony.
$70 don't make MTX go away. Therefore...the price increase is not justified.
The increase of mtx was justified with alleged increase in cost of making a game. So now the limitless pool of money from mtx isn't enough either. No excuse for $70 games.
Don't purchase $70 games in the US and anywhere else where there has been an increase.
The only half baked games come from EA, Activision, and Ubisoft.
Indie devs are making much better games nowadays.
Sony gives us quality triple A games and microsoft is giving us ...something....maybe...but they do have some quality games. Maybe they'll get back on track next gen.
Once I'm done with all the games I want to play this gen....then I'll move to next gen and trade it in.
Never realized how awesome it is to be behind in terms of playing new releases. I get to play all these games but only paying a fraction of what I would have had to pay before.
I still have on my list
Outer worlds
Cuphead
Blasphemous
Sleeping Dogs
Salt and Sanctuary
Shadow Warrior 2
...
Considering they wanted to have the most powerful console...it appears that Microsoft still garners a lot of attention related to lower resolutions.
More like Sony doesn't bother much with 2 generation old games.
@Dirty
Sony only said that because MS said in a conference that they would allow all future titles to be compatible with all their family of xbox consoles.
