@porkchop @neon
Simulators are simulators. Forza is not a simulator and neither is gran turismo. They have simulator feature but they are primarily a racing game.
With @porkchops logic then cod is an army simulator...it's not. It does simulate it but it is not a simulator.
Microsoft flight simulator is indeed what it is called. A simulator...which can be gamey but also just be a simulator. It's not a video game in the sense of w...
They've already hit the ground running with demon souls
And probably, "wait till next year"
Microsoft always deceives with its advertising.
They've been doing buy 2 get 1 free deals for newly released games all gen, pretty much.
Dont see why that would stop.
@wulfer
You assume too much buddy.
This is an Xbox article with the focus on xbox.
Well aware of supply issues for both consoles. Happens every new gen launch.
But please feel free to continue on you self righteous mission to tell others what they supposedly ignore.
I don't really see an issue of both consoles perform similar to their previous launch consoles. It would just show that there isn't much ...
Actually none of the newly released games are 75% off. Those get a minor discount. Not even close to 75%..more like 10-15% Off.
Didn't think about that. Good point.
Definitely worse then considering a much bigger market.
So they performed roughly the same as their previous launch...except with the possibility of making less money due to the series s although they sold more.
Not much of a loss.
Big deal out of nothing
It's great to have so many beta testers!
Ps now is equally if not more impressive. Especially since it has a much larger catalogue.
The nonsense of microsoft first party being there day one is pointless.
Which one has more quality games offered. That is the whole point. Who cares about mediocre first party titles.
What if water isn't absorbed?
Better to die a beautiful death.
Fitting given how revolutionary this title was/is.
It is the only game that caught my eye from the launch titles. The others are nice too of course.
Didn't microsoft have advertising rights?
Regardless just comes to show both consoles are relatively on par.
Except one will have better experiences qnd has an amazing controller.
Well the competition would be:
Playstation
Playstation Now
Nintendo
PC (even more likely to ignore or cancel subscritions) : Steam and other platforms on PC
There is a ton of competition that is making good content, giving free games, creating the top experiences.
And yes, once there are bethesda exclusives on gamepass people will want to play those games, given that they are any good. And then they'll can...
Big difference being there is a substantial amount of competition against xbox where that isn't the case with netflix.
It's not like they can't play the majority of gamepass content on other platforms.
The only advantage for xbox is with the loyal fans who will stubbornly stuck with them.
As I just stated in a different article. Microsoft is more focused on pushing subscriptions then in selling consoles.
The err in his judgement is that unless you have good games you aren't going to have as many players as your "not competition" competitor.
Smart gamers will be able to play xbox exclusives for a very small amount of money and then cancel their subscription. Spending maybe 120$ for a entire generation for xboxs gamepass and th...
Wait till gamescom announcement of games in production that will be show next year.
