Spider-Man and RDR2 may have better gameplay (who knows) but I can tell you they won't have a better story or adventure as God of War, the game of the generation!
Funny because Sony said it surpassed 7.6 million sales worldwide 6 months ago. Highly doubt the majority of Horizon's sales as of Feb. 2018 were digital sales, seems like another underestimate for a Sony game.

All these games are extremely old besides Arms & Splatoon, Bayonetta wasn't created by Nintendo, neither was the Xenosaga. Most date back to the NES or SNES.

3 indie devs, with just Playground Games that have been consistently top tier in recent years and an unknown quantity (calling them an AAAA team is laughable at best, damaging at worst), not that impressive in my opinion.

Gold Edition being £70/80 depending on the system doesn't bother me. Full game (not episodic) and 2 expansions seem like a fair deal.

PS4 sold gangbusters, Switch is selling very well - both will get new successors and they probably will too based on their success. Microsoft is only looking at alternatives because they've destroyed their brand.

It's had less than 10 retail AAA 3rd party releases all year. *I challenge anyone to name more.*
It's relied on WiiU ports almost entirely & only had 2 new games from Nintendo (Kirby / Mario Tennis).
It has Smash Bros & Pokemon for the rest of the year. - It hasn't won anything.
It's also miles behind PS4 in NPD because of these reasons and near enough dead in Europe right now.

Sony games have a lot of competition fighting for gamer's dollars on PS4, Nintendo games don't.

To put it into perspective, God of War on PS4 has ALREADY outsold every Xbox One exclusive in just 1 month of availability, it would put it 6th best-selling game on Xbox One if VGChartz estimates are to be believed, behind BF1, 3 Call of Duty titles and GTAV.
So PS4 is almost 50 million ahead when they launched in the same month. Just shows the brand power of PlayStation worldwide.
If PS3 wasn't a massive headache thanks to poor business decisions, PS3 probably would have won it's generation over Wii as well.
