Even the BF3 one wasn't exactly epic, once you can find a position where you know from that spot, you just need to line the site "here" its pretty easy to pick someone off, especially at a spawn point, the distance is fixxed, you just need to wait and get lucky.
Anyone right now could grab a sniper with a 12x sope, sit in that spot on that map and get a kill relatively quickly.

This article pretty much describes whats happening to me,
I did a few main quests quests, then joined the stomrcloaks, then the Thieves guild, then the Companions, then I spent hourse getting Dadric Armor, then I found an amulet, which had anotyher 2 pieces to it, but to find one of them I had to do the College of whiterun quest.

I used to be a COD fanboy. USED to be.
The thing with BF3 you cant just pick up and play it, it has so much more content and so much more to do it actualyl puts platyers off.
I can understand people want more of a pick and play game, but what it means is:

Its odd, the ambiant life in Skyrim takes me out of the immersion, the character are so wooden and carry out the same repetitive actions and sayings it detracts its self from reality.
The way Bethesda immerses the player is with the story line, character progression and the open world exploration.
If the kids tells me he's gunna prank me 1 more time, I'm going to buy the PC version, install the nexus mod and punch him in the face :).

Just don't include children in the game, it doesn't add to the gameplay so just leave them out entirely.
2 hours is a bit optimistic, and doing it would be a boring pain in the arse, my smithing is up to 81 and that took me a long time. You also need a hell of a lot of gold, those Iron Igots aren't cheap! I reckon is about 3000 gold just to get you to level 20, and thats the easy bit.
Also it levels up your character, which means enemies are harder defeat, so you end upw ith some kick ass armour but your fighting higher level enimies with all your other attributes relatively...

I wouldn't mind if COD took a step back, MW3 was awful.
