Same old on rails shooter, I don't like cut scenes I don't want hyper reality. I want, choices, planning, tactics. I don't want another turkey shoot where im fighting a HIND single handed. I want a war, large scale, brutal and expansive. I want some sandbox, I want to be given an objective and some tools at my disposal, but its up to me how or what gets used.

Graphics looked better but far to many post process effects, lens flar, bloom etc as usual. I've noticed that the actual game play is exactly the same. Chest high walls everywhere, didnt see anything that stands out as a next gen element (AI/Destruction/Sandbox/Random Events).

MOD support isn't going to happen unless they can factor in some kind of subscription, this is what rFactor 2 and project CARS is doing. You can buy the game and get 1 years subscription to online services. After that you pay a year subscription to play the game (Can't remember if that's offline/online or both).

I guess its fair enough, as the longevity of a game can be extended for years after the initial release, of which the developers wouldn't get 0 revenu...

How much they go for?

Played around 3d's and at prestige 5 with a 2.4 KD, might be a nice earner :)

This is what we need. More stuff to play around, more textures, characters, weapons, vehicles, maps, gamespace.

Bigger, bolder, interactive set pieces, I want a whole war goign on around me that I can interact with. Whole cities bustling with life, every last detail captured, wether it be a street, a race track or another planet.

Physics, AI, Sound. Push the ondaries, make everyting interactive and des...

SMG's are slightly OP, but I don't think map design helps much.

Most combat tales place within about 5 meters range, so SMG's will have the uper hand, they just need to tone down the hip fire.

I'm quite near the end, and at no point have a I required a "quick save". I wouldn't say FC3 is one of the most difficult games ever made.

I think the autosaving is pretty good, it seems to save just before you get to a mission/outpost/tower. If you die you can normally get straight back into the action.

Well said BanBro, I've been saying this for years, people need to get on with their lives.

Imagine with we all put in so much effort in to bitching and crying about every game we didn't like.

Its crazy TBO, if I'm not interested in a game I just dont pay it attention.

I quite like the trevelling and exploring. Farcry 3 is quite a beautiful game, you come accross landmarks and think "wow" in this game.

There's always plently to do, and if you want to, you an always take a car! :P

Great game, first FPS SP that I've enjoyed for a long time.

I wish more games gave you this much freedom, instead of feeding you repetitive set pieces over and over again.

A lot of gamers are clev...

Yes but you have to agree that "gamers" are secondary, you wouldn't find a a gaming store "forgetting" to order in a batch of new consoles.

Tesco don't care about, gamers, or games, or even profit from games, its all about just pulling in more customers to their stores.

Still with you local gaming dedicated stores, they wont neglect gamers, as that's their only sauce of income.

Better yet, visit you local independent Game store!

Did anyone not want to play the game and just sit back and watch the cut-scenes/story, it was so good it could be a TV series.

Well done ubi-soft for creating a game with decent story telling and progression. Yum!

I really hope this takes off. This really could be the "next step" in gaming.

If successful it could free gamers form their desks/TV's. Especially if can eventually incorporate wireless technology, all you'll need is a controller a headset and a chair and you play anywhere :).

It takes me 90 minutes to earn 1 year of Live subscription. I can live with that. Compared to a lot of things its peanuts. It coss me about £20 - £30 just to go and watch a 2 hours film with my wife!

You can't use theater mode as an acurate representation of the game its never showed whats actually happened in a game it always seems to be behind the action.

The 2 clips you show, first, its theater mode so not accurate, 2nd he fired before he was fully ADS with pistol so thats why the shot wasn't accurate. COD does use recoil to spread bullets, just a cone of frie, and where the bullet goes is chance based on the weapon paramets.

The second clip, l...

Another splinter cell.

Why add tonnes of crap, bells and whitsles, bloom and lens flare.

Refine and improve upon the base oyu have worked on, not change it all and make it crappy.

Also, anothe shoddy port from Console to PC. Depressing.
