Wow, you really have to give it to Bioware. Mass Effect 1 had its fair share of problems but it looks like they're trying to fix as many as they can in 2.

Am I the only person on earth that hates this new direction everything's taking by trying to do 3D? Cartoons in 3D. Games in 3D. Movies in 3D. I just don't care for any of this.

No plot whatsoever? Nevermind. I hate plotless games more than I hate movies with a terrible story.
I really don't care about graphics much. I'm not one to whine about the resolution or jaggies or anything like that. I do like how smooth the animations are in newer games but that doesn't stop me from playing old PS2 games. So the graphics in MW2 don't really bother me. And I can guarantee the gameplay is gonna be fast and addictive. IW can tell a good story so that's a plus.

Yeah, there are a fair few memorable moments in gaming but that microwave scene was really something else. It started hurting when you just kept pressing the button. It went beyond movies and books at that moment because you could literally feel his pain while watching it.
I know I'm just asking for people to disagree with me for saying this but I'm gonna wait just a little longer to see if this ever makes its way to the PS3. I bought GTA IV on the PS3 and I'd feel uncomfortable playing it with a 360 controller. History shows most 3rd party stuff becomes multiplatform sooner or later so I'll wait till I replay GTA IV with both endings and if it's not out by then, I'll just get this disc version of the DLC.

Really, the only thing I don't care for in the update is the silver boxes surrounding your friends list. It's nothing I'm gonna cry about and I probably use the friends list messaging system more than anyone here. But change is welcomed sometimes. First it annoys then it grows on you after awhile. That's just life.

I guess I'm the only one who would prefer the Jak and Daxter series to remain untouched. The story ended well. There's no need to try forcing the series to continue. If it's done well (like this new one on the PSP seems pretty good from that recent cutscene they showed) I'd be the first one to get it. But I'm perfectly content with it never getting a sequel.
Now Kingdom Hearts, that's a different story. We need KH3.

I really hope Ratchet does well in sales. We all know it'll be one of the best in the series (especially with the open world-ish space areas!). But Insomniac deserves to have their game sell well. Can't think of a group of people who consistently make really good games (minus minor quibbles with the lack of weapon wheel in Resistance 2).

Was disappointed at E3 when they said this was an MMORPG. Vowed I'd never play one of those. I know I'd get addicted to it and we all know addictions to MMORPGs don't end well.
