If this actually has a good war story, I might rent it. The Halo universe has a very strong story but the games don't really reflect that (not sure about Halo Wars), just the books.
Example of a great war story by the way: CoD4.
We were made with the will to do right or wrong. That's correct. But which one should you do? The right one or the wrong one? There is an obvious answer to that. By pirating, you do the wrong one.

What you did was illegal. Regardless of how you say you're gonna still buy it, it's still illegal.
Legal way: Game actually comes out. You're not too sure about it. You go to, let's say, blockbuster. You rent it. You like it. You buy it.
Illegal way: What you did.

edit: Plus, this game looks like you'd get your money's worth. The developers obviously worked hard on it and deserve really good sales. If you can't afford it, you can't have it. Like everything else in life.

I get what you're saying but I don't agree that FF is a milked series. Every game has a different story, setting, characters ect. Little references like chocobos and stuff are just fan service but if you changed the name of each of them, nobody would suspect they're from the same series. I get what you mean though.
And Halo hasn't got to the milking stage. There hasn't been many over the span of many years. It does have the potential to reach that milking stage though.

There's a great deal wrong with that comment but this is the one that stuck with me:

I regret that I never played world at war. I would love to hear Gary Oldman in it. He's easily one of the best actors out there.
I think the best actor out there right now is Daniel Day-Lewis for the record. There Will Be Blood wasn't a great movie but his role in it was second to none.
