A lot of dreamcast news today.
Every time I here people on n4g talk about the dreamcast, I feel I missed out not getting it when it came out. I was never really into sonic though. I could never make it past the first few levels. It just bored me.
Haha, I knew I'd get a disagree for that.
Well he takes a negative view on it. I care cause more PS3 owners = more potential sales on software, so things like Valkyria Chronicles 2 on the PSP instead of the PS3 happen less theoretically.
Not that I mind it on the PSP. I was actually thinking before they announced 2 that they should've did remote play for part 1. It would've worked well I think.
Yeah this looks pretty good. It catches a lot of flack since it went multiplatform but as long as it's good, why complain?
Oh and I really hope Nobuo Uematsu does the music for it. It showed that he didn't compose it for XII.
edit: Nope, just checked. Masashi Hamauzu is doing the score. He was Nobuo Uematsu's assistant in FF X. Oh well...
Best game I've played all year has been inFamous. It had the same perfect controls from Sly Cooper minus the stealth. Plus the story was pretty good.
They put Gran Turismo 5 even though it's not even confirmed for this year...
They should've put Ratchet and Clank instead.
That's odd
Jeez, you guys are a cheery bunch huh?
To clarify, I'm not saying ODST is a bad game that's not worth anything. I'm saying that if you have XBL, it's a game that could last you a long time. But if you don't have XBL, you're paying $60 for a game where you miss out on the best parts of the game. The single player is good and everything but it can't compete with the online. Everyone who has XBL should get this game.
edit: @ Dacapn,
You have a point. Valve games sometimes get updates that could be worth $30...
It's worth it to those who have XBL. To 360 owners without XBL? It's not worth $60.
I don't know. I just don't see the PS3 (or anything for that matter) catching up with the Wii. At least anytime soon. Isn't there like two times as many Wiis out there than PS3s? But who knows. It's a strange world.
Though, Gran Turismo and FF XIII are going to be a big part of why it happened if it did happen.
Wait, what?
10. No
9. Don't think so though I'm sure it'll be good
8. I suck at racing games
7. I SUCK at racing games
6. Yes, definitely
5. Don't have XBL so it's kinda worthless, sadly
4. Um, no
3. Yes, 100%
2. Boycott!
1. Um, no
Oh and bubbles for liking Valkyria Chronicles.
Hmm what am I hoping for?
Kingdom Hearts 3. That's just about it really.
Wow, my wishlist is short.
I actually kinda liked I, Robot. It was flawed (kinda like I Am Legend now that I think about it) but still pretty decent. But I don't think it would be a good game.
I suppose they're right. To finish a game you have to go through the story bits that are set for you. We always have to go talk with Roman in GTA IV. We always need to go into that Oblivion gate in Oblivion. Everyone has to fight the same ending boss in Mass Effect. Everyone that plays these games till the credits will do exactly that.
But what does it matter? Linear storytelling in video games has given us GTA IV, Half-Life 2 and many more. We have some of the best stor...
I agree with the GTA IV one. The people in that game die so realistically that I usually feel bad after I kill anyone.
*spoilers*
Also when they kill Roman at his wedding. The way Niko just loses it was pretty sick. The look on his face. It's one of the best parts in GTA IV.
I don't think you could call somebody a crybaby if that commercial reminds them of how their father or mother died. So have a heart, ok?
This will probably never make it to America though.
Yup, this is the best one. I heavily use the backwards compatibility. It's failed on me twice (YLOD and the blu ray drive), but I'm a forgive and forget christian. So, all's forgiven. It's still the best.
There's a saying that comes to mind.
Don't count your eggs before they hatch.
Looks really cool. But it looks like it'd give you a headache after awhile.
