I wonder what would happen if MW2 had all these problems CoD4 has when it launches?
But in all honesty, we shouldn't blame IW or activision (ugh). We should blame the hackers and cheaters. I just can't figure out why someone would want to do stuff like that. I don't even cheat in GTA games. And I hate, hate God mode in games. It just gets instantly boring as soon as you're too superpowered.
You know, I would love to build something like this to play pc games but I swear, I just can't get the hang of keyboard and mouse controls. So it would kinda suck to go through all the trouble of building a Crysis-ready pc yet being unable to play it cause I can't do keyboard and mouse.
I don't know how people say they prefer keyboard and mouse over a PS3 or 360 controller.
Jeez you guys are touchy. He didn't even say anything negative.
"The Gamer Zone is for members who want a more friendly and civilized discussion."
I'd watch this but I decided awhile back that I wasn't gonna watch anything until I'm actually playing it. More exciting that way and it's a good self-control exercise.
You can also use this on the PSP, kinda. It's called guitarstar. Install it then download the songs from fretsonfire and that's it really.

It's only for hacked PSPs (obviously).
God. I think I died a little watching that.
Just, wow...
Boring to you. If it wasn't for MGS4, it would be my favorite game of last year. And this one sounds more action packed. They said they wanted their inner Michael Bay to show on Gay Tony.
But did they just say that Agent is coming out next year?
Good. The hardest one in ME 1 was the whole kaiden-ashley-you-get-to-decid e-who-lives thing. Cause it wasn't as black and white as the other choices. Both choices make sense. Both solutions suck.
HL2 and Halo should switch. It's just common sense.
After reading a good number of these comments, I guess I am the only one who is annoyed by this new 3D push. Sly Cooper 3 probably just left a bad taste in my mouth with it's headache inducing 3D sections but regardless, I can't see the point.
I just hate these gimmicks video games have taken. Motion controls, 3D; they just seem a forced. To me at least. But what do I know?
I'm guessing this means for Japan. So that means about a year till it comes stateside huh?
Oh well I guess. A year isn't that long...
Price
Plus, let's say the PS3 was in dead last place in Japan right now overall. FF XIII will certainly change that in a big way. I'm not sure if it's even possible for anything to catch up to the Wii in Japan but FF XIII will put a decent sized dent in that lead.
Also I'm surprised at IGN. This is a flamebate title with the sole purpose to get hits. IGN are usually more professional than this.
That could mean they're built cheap though. Not sure what the price range for a high quality RC thing is though so I don't know. Not an expert in things like this really.
Thanks for answering. If that's the case I might pass on this. It'll just end up as a headache anyways. A near-impossible to beat spider boss will just make life harder for me in the end. Oh well, just frees up money to buy another game. I wonder which though?
Oh and I'd give you bubbles but I don't think it would really do anything for you at this point. But you know what they say, it's the thought that counts.
Yeah I see what you mean. A mandatory AI controlled partner to follow you around in a stealth game can have it's drawbacks. Let's just hope Kojima pulls it off.
And if Rising did change MGS's focus to hack n slash action, then you can probably count me out. I got bored with the best hack n slash game (God of War) so much so that I never finished it. So I doubt this would be any better.
I'm just not into hack n slash games, even if it is Metal Gear. Or racing...
That's a bold statement. Halo 1 is still regarded as one of the best FPS games ever (and rightfully so). So saying that ODST is better than what's regarded as one of the best games ever?
Well, that's a bold statement.
No doubt it's gonna get some great reviews though.
Hmm, I might rent this like Oblivion to test the waters. This difficulty thing makes me hesitant to drop $60 on it.
Also, to the people who imported it or just anyone who knows: are there any spiders in this? I'm really arachnophobic and these types of games usually have a bunch of them.
Oh and is there any story? The review really doesn't mention it.
Please answer if you know.
I'm sure XBL is better. In fact, I guarantee it. But I like PSN. Met some good friends on it that I wouldn't have found on XBL. Plus it's free. I don't play online much anyways so the little differences hardly bother me.
@champ21
Yeah I know controllers are supported. But I doubt I'd get the full experience on a pc if I were to use a PS3 controller.
@Pandamobile
Yeah, I've seen how perfect people are with a keyboard and mouse. I could use a mouse (obviously) pretty well since it requires very little thinking but I can't get used to the wasd thing. It just never works right for me. Maybe I just need more practice.
