Yeah, everyone hates activision, justifiably (and if you don't, you should), but the most hardcore PS3 fanboys actually take pot shots at IW. Which really isn't justified.
Next time there's an article on MW2, see what "they" have to say about it.
Oh and buy MW2 used. It's for the greater good.
No multiplayer in ACIT.
Not every game needs multiplayer anyways.
Exactly. All of insomniac's games are must buys for me no matter what but not everyone gives them the respect they deserve.
Besides minor problems with R2 (no weapons wheel), they've consistently made high quality game after high quality game; in record time too.
Let's just see how well they get advertised...
All the extreme PS3 fanboys say CoD is just a generic twitchy shooter with bad graphics and horrible online.
I suppose the twitchy thing is true but it's not generic and the graphics aren't bad at all. And some of them even say they weren't addicted to CoD4 online.
IW is great. They should drop get out of activision.
Disagrees don't truly mean anything. So don't sweat it.
edit: I know what you mean though. I used to love reading Breakfast's comments. Wonder where he went off to...
edit again: @below
haha
Welcome...
Really, they should ban some of these people's IP addresses. It's a mess.
Yeah, I remember when CoD4 came out, every single PS3 fanboy was in love with IW. There was finally a really good multiplatform game that was identical with the 360 version. And then they said that it wasn't hard to make them identical, just different. From then on, if a port wasn't good, it was the developers fault.
Now it's funny, PS3 fanboys (the diehard ones) hate IW and activision.
Justified though, on the activision side of things. IW are still great.
And people would buy it.
Oh, it's so sad that there are people out there that would actually buy it if it were $10.
Every branch of the media has a bias. So I guess it shouldn't surprise us that the video game media is the same.
edit: Fox is biased cause they're conservative; NBC is biased cause they're left wing.
Movie critics and such play favorites and they even black list some people.
And well, this...
True. But I just never thought IGN would stoop this low.
Constructive criticism is one thing but this is just an article written by a fanboy.
Besides the fact that they obviously didn't fact check it, it just felt like a really long comment from the open zone.
Really, I lost a lot of respect for IGN today. Even if it's just this one writer that's obviously biased, they actually approved this article.
Good month.
Also, I didn't know Afrika was coming out already.
Just a little after my birthday too. I think I'm gonna get Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls and something else.
By the way, I did this last year and it worked with no problems.
The PS Wand or whatever it's called kinda won me over with LittleBigPlanet but both of these are probably still a gimmick. I can't see me buying either of these.
I bought a Wii though. So I guess I'm a hypocrite.
Hopefully doctorstrange.
Hopefully...
Nice that they get some things before us though.
Yeah, the Jak and Daxter games were some of the best platformers out there but I wouldn't want them to go back to them. You know they can spit out high quality games so might as well start on something new.
It is a rip off but a very very unique rip off.
I don't really care anyways as long as the game's good.
If you actually read the article, he's saying that there hasn't really been an innovation like 2D to 3D in Mario 64 and the open world in GTA III. Which is true I suppose.
But really, how much further can they innovate? I don't think games can get much better than this. Just prettier. Where we're at is sufficient.
Haha, that's actually true.
That's a good comparison.
Since, you know, I don't care much for multiplayer either...
