The hackers know the system too well. I don't think Sony can ever really get rid of the pirating problem.
And when people download games instead of buying them, that drains money from the industry. Word it anyway you want. Games are a business and pirating is killing that.
Yeah but they can be cannon. But if the game doesn't actually implement that amazing story from the books, then the story isn't good in the game. The backstory maybe good, but the actual game's story wouldn't be. I'm not sure if I'm making sense.
And yeah, Halo Reach is shaping up to be the best in the series. I really hope it's good.
edit: And no. Never played Liberation.
I would've figured it'd take longer than that. But these hackers really are devoted to their cause.
edit: It'd be ok if they only used homebrew on it but they all try to justify pirating by saying they want to play backups. Cause a hacked PSP is way more useful than an unhacked one. But it sucks that this stuff has drained millions from the industry.

You know, I don't think that the books count. Kinda like Killzone. Apparently part 1 had a pretty good story where the bad guys really aren't so bad. None of that transferred to Killzone 2. Therefore, Killzone 2 had a mediocre story.
Same with Halo. The only one that had a good story was 1 (not sure about ODST though).
With all the games coming out this month, it would really shock me if they really gave it to forza.

I think hiphopgamer catches too much flack from you guys on n4g. This is the first one I ever watched from him and he was right on most points and it was entertaining even though it was just him talking to the screen for 20 minutes.
I loved GTA IV. Loved it. Absolutely adored it. But I'll admit bowling and some stuff like that really wasn't that fun.
But I still made sure to visit at least two friends a day when playing cause it gave you a quick conversation between Niko and someone else and it just amazes me how perfect the dialogue is.
