By and large, I don't care for multiplayer. I liked Killzone 2 a little, Resistance 2 co op was fun, I got addicted to CoD4 for like a month and I liked Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 and 2. But that's it really.
But, I love the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta. It's perfect. I highly recommend you download it just to try. The singleplayer in Uncharted 2 might be its strongest point but the multiplayer will easily be a very very very close second.

Well, Forza 3 was made to be approachable to casual players unlike sim racers before it. So a negative could be that it's not easily approachable to casual racers. Might not be quite enough to dock a full point though.

It's all part of the games industry growing and maturing. Movies, books and music; they all went through this time. In time, all this controversy will pass. It'll take awhile though.

Well, maybe it is the best racing game ever made... so far. And I don't see what the difference is between comparing one racing game to another. What system it plays on is irrelevant really. It's not quite so different as apples and oranges.

Ugh, I hate that you need the newest firmware to play it. I'm running 5.00 m33 and I don't think they're doing a newer one for a long time.

edit: eh, I don't know. I'm so used to m33 and I've heard some people have had trouble once they switch to others. But this MGS demo is really tempting.

Nothing against Forza 3, I'm sure it's a great game. But I really doubt that statement right there is true.
edit: Again nothing against Forza but I'm sure Fallout 3, Borderlands, WOW, LBP, CS or even Tetris (if you really want to push the question) can last you longer than this.

You're missing the point. They made it to be approachable to casuals. That's what they always said. It's hard enough for the hardcore but fun enough for the casual. So if you, a casual (hypothetical, of course), buy it and it's too realistic for you, that would be a huge negative, right?
