The thing that made Niko so great was his personality. He was a sociopath, yet likable. And he was incredibly deep. Oh and yeah, the writing was very very very good but it was his voice actor that delivered in spades. Wonder if/when he's gonna do something else?

Actually, R&C might be ending (haven't played ACiT yet so nobody even reply to this).
But about SCC, Splinter Cell was always an xbox franchise to me. So even if it comes to the PS3, I don't care. And I always prefer to buy games on the PS3.
Well Demon's Souls is a different kinda game than FFXIII. I personally am taking a break from DS while this All Hallows Eve thing is going on. It's just way too hard.
But back to the point, FFXIII is probably gonna be a fun rpg. DS is just something else entirely. Plus it probably (will) have a better story than DS.
Just get both.
Without spoiling anything, is the story good like Niko's? Niko's story is one of the best stories I've ever heard, seen or read. Does it keep that aspect but make it a little more crazy? I wouldn't mind that.
If I'm understanding right, that's actually a good idea. I always here people saying that it ruins games because you could just tell your team where people are when you die.
So taking it out, or the ability to take it out, is actually a good idea.

I'm really not sure what's better though: XP where only the people fighting gets the points (like FFVII), XP where the whole party gets the points (like ME or KOTOR) or XP where individually you get the points and have to spend them (like this).

Valve saw there was a lot of talent in this group of people. So valve bought them up and probably gave a lot of money and resources to them.

Honestly, the 360 fanboys that don't like valve don't like them cause they think Halo is the best FPS ever. You rarely hear 360 fanboys say much bad about valve but when they do, I'd say that's the reason.
PS3 fanboys? They hate valve because they won't develop for the PS3. So the "it isn't on my system, therefore it sucks" argument comes into play.
And of course, some people (for some reason that only God and them know) just don't like valve games. Wha...

edit: And it was sooo necessary to kill him in every playthrough. It provided a shortcut and it let you get past those convicts which are extremely overpowered.
Yup, they just added the Ratchet demo this week. I haven't played either cause I don't like to play demos for games I'm absolutely gonna get regardless what reviews say.
Speaking of which, my most trusted review site is IGN AU. They're tough but fair and never give free passes. So, good review. And everyone, get this game. I'm getting this for christmas (wait's killing me) but I have demon's souls to keep me busy till then. Plus life. Life also keeps me busy.

I know. I would be sooo disappointed if they reverted back to the old model of characters' personalities in GTA V.
Plus the thing I loved (absolutely loved) about GTA IV was how brutal the killings looked. It made it look like people who kill really "have no soul" cause it was so graphic looking.
