I have no doubt Retro is currently working on a new Metroid game. However, after that, I'd like to see what they can do with Star Fox, F-Zero, or even a completely new game. They're very talented, and I'd love to see what more they can do!
I think it's a great idea (taking Smash Bros to an airport to play with siblings?), but my fear is that it will take away from the Wii U version. One of the main selling points for the Wii U will be Smash Bros, and many people are simply going to choose the 3DS version because it's cheaper, portable, and they have a 3DS.
People are overreacting. Nintendo has obviously decided that their target market should be young girls, and people that claim that's sexist know nothing about economics. To the people complaining "not every girl likes pink and princesses!" Well, would you rather it be dark blue with dinosaurs? It's pink simply because that's what instantly appeals to most girls.
People throw "sexist" and "racist" around WAY too often.
By E3, you should get a stronger toilet just in case... Haha
Didn't Gamexplain point this out a long time ago? :P
Anyway, in my opinion, it's pretty obvious Retro has been working on a new Metroid game. The Metroid pin, this ship, specific comments...It will probably be revealed this E3.
My, what long arms you have!
I agree. Someone on Gamexplain mentioned the idea of a double cherry power-up... That would be very interesting.
Yes, I would have reported it as a duplicate, but Internet was not available when this article was published for me. I had hoped that the publisher of the article would be honest and not post it when a previous one existed. I agree about the approval system recently, though.
Sorry, I wasn't attempting to look desperate. I posted the article around 5 hours ago and I was eager to see the response from N4G readers, since this is very exciting news.
Really? I posted this hours ago and it's still not approved -_-
Nice job, approval system.
I'm really looking forward to this feature, if it is implemented. Now if only this article could get approved...
...really? I am one of the ones that will defend Mario until my last breath. I own The Wonderful 101 as well. Notice that I said "first-party mainstream." All I'm calling for is some extended creativity in Nintendo's own departments.
And you misquote me. I did not say retire Mario. That would be idiotic. I specifically said that they should simply focus some of their resources on new ideas, unless a new idea comes around for a great Mario game.
I think that after Mario Kart 8, they should rest Mario for a while unless they have some exciting new ideas they want to test out.
I'd rather them devote some time and support to old IPs, completely new first-party mainstream IPs, and continue creating fun experiences.
And we can't stop...
And we won't stop...
...going to go stand in the corner of shame now
It seems that last year was the year of great 3DS games. I think Nintendo should still make great 3DS games, but also use more resources on the Wii U.
Well said as always.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I would personally LOVE to see Toad get the spotlight for a game. I know he was the protagonist in Wario's Woods, but I'd love to see him in his own clever, original 3D puzzle/adventure game or something.
Every comment I see from you is well-crafted and intelligent. Why do you have one bubble? Here is a free one (and I'll be sure to give you bubbles on every other comment of yours that I like).
+Well said
I personally they've been working on a new Metroid for Wii U.
Does anyone know if this title is supposed to be released for the Wii U?
I'm looking forward to it regardless.
