How can they "only just" 'own' something?
Is something is 'owned' (an expression I loathe by the way), then that implies a 'resounding' win to me.
3.7 million certainly seems 'do-able' for the game - I just won't be one of 'em as I wasn't impressed with the demo at all.

Let's see: I've spent over £150 on PS3 games in the last fortnight (UC2, Demon's Souls collectors edition, R&C, a pre-order for an import God of War Collection, and a few PSN items too) - Something like Borderlands can wait for quite a while.

Yeah, I'm English and was surprised to see this pop into my 'in box'. I don't know what the criteria is for getting a code, but this is the first time I've ever received one so feel rather lucky that it's for such a big title.

Good to hear my extreme dislike of AC isn't unique. I found it pure tedium from start to finish with every mission seeming so repetetive. Definately not interested in looking into part two.
