Why not make a social hub ala PS Home again?
It'll attract a bunch of new people simply because of the social hub thing, all the weirdos and lonely people love that shit. Not to mention the paid cosmetics, it seems like an easy money situation if they chased this kind of live service instead of neutering the games in favor of it.

If there's any game publishers need to worry about "recouping costs", it's not this one. Slapping a $100 price tag on GTA6 would be being greedy for the sake of it because there's no version where this game flops or undersells, unless it's fundamentally different from the expected GTA formula. Even a lazy copy paste job from GTAV with a Vice City overhaul would still do stupidly well.
