Yves certainly took hold of the ship and steered it in all sorts of wrong directions. As for Beyond Good & Evil 2, there were already reports that whatever state it was last in was far removed from what fans wanted out of a sequel/prequel. That has also been silent for so long, I will be surprised if it ever does make a comeback resulting in release. But, as already stated, the game isn't going to be what players/fans wanted. Probably similar to I Am Alive, compare original announceme...
I said this was probably the case, given the complete lack of presence since the news of restarting the project a while ago. They put out articles rating it and claiming it was "releasing soon" only for this to happen.
Surprised Splinter Cell wasn't among the 6 canceled projects, but that's likely also a matter of time.
I'd love them to focus on the games. We're deep into this current gen and I'm still waiting for them.
