I wasn't expecting a masterpiece because Far Cry has been on a slow decline in quality, but this certainly won't be the secret sauce.
Bad example to use a series that hasn't had a pause function from inception, to a series that has had it and very recently chosen not to.

The PS5 gen has essentially been a bust, though a few gems such as Returnal, Astro Bot, and Steller Blade.
We might not have had unnecessary remasters (Last of Us, Horizon) or remakes (Last of Us, again) if not for this. Alas, with the die already having been cast, we hope for a return to form.
