For me, it's because ND builds really good worlds and Sci-Fi from them is very intriguing. Beyond that, though.... hmmm. All that product placement, the weird direction TLOU2 took, etc.

It's actually a remaster of a remake if we're being technical

It has to be, with the Weapons and essentially everything that is left.

It certainly is a choice genre to almost exclusively review

Happy to see something being done with Turok that isn't mobile slop, but this doesn't really capture what Turok is.

Something in the vein of the recent Avatar game but Turokized could have been a banger.

Only those with no confidence or real plan of success will be sent to die in the same release week/day as this.

Juggernaut releases of this caliber only come so often, so it's the sensible thing to avoid it

What a time to be alive

Come on man, even you have to be able to see between the lines. This has nothing to do with MS or holds any effect on them regardless of success or failure, so you don't have to parade as you usually do in this case.

I'm fairly certain that because of the goings on surrounding Ubisoft as a whole, this game is going to be targeted and it will be a warzone when user reviews hit. I imagine that the movement wants this to fail in hopes of getting Ubisoft restructured and/or purchased by Tencent.

First party Nintendo titles are held to a specific standard for a reason. It could be argued that both Sony and MS could benefit from doing the same, but you are right with MS nonchalant approach and "it scored well internally" and then putting out something like Redfall. Even Halo, MS' flagship series, wasn't overseen with the fine tooth comb to ensure it was top notch quality.

Nintendo first party games are very rarely duds, let alone non functional ones...

It wasn't about going far enough, rather taking a huge dump on the established universe built up to that point and making everyone play the the same despite the differences in abilities in any other canon; furthermore made worse by Elseworld shit and somehow also choosing the worst of that to use too.

The game sacrificed soul for the appeasement of those who weren't buying the game to begin with. WB fucked that game up with their mandates and nobody benefited from i...

Digital is also vastly hindered by install sizes and day one patches. Most base digital consoles are 500gb, and if you install CoD on that then you have space for maybe one other game.

This necessitates having to dish out an extra few hundred for a 4-8TB external HDD, assuming support for it exists at launch. The PS5 did not support 8tb drives at launch, only coming in the 8.0 firmware update.

All digital allows the companies to tell you what you can ha...
