am excited to see what the future brings for Kinect. If 2+ weeks out we have vids like those what will one year from launch be like?
all I did was play with, build, and fix computers. After a series of unfortunate events left me incapable of doing most of those things, holding a controller and parking me in front of a game console was the least physically demanding way for me to escape into the wonderful world of games. The first one was a PS2, which I hated the controller, but Max Payne 2 had to be played, then I bought a used original xbox for my son's and found through playing with them, that I loved that big goofy ...
live the Amiga....
just picked up Kinect tonight and I am thoroughly impressed, it even picked me up in my wheel chair. It certainly seems like it is going to be great fun for my family. If you get a chance to try one out, do it.
This is an interesting video from MS research.

How do you know what a 360 owner wants to do; since, you obviously don't care to address the 360 crowd?
nothing but detractors and haters, err I mean fanboys in the Xbox section, how unusual. I found the video from Attack of the Show with Adam Sessler and Kevin P doing a live stage demo to be most informative. Some of you are so vehement in your vitriol that I can't help but be amused, and for that, I thank you.
could be argued that the 360, WII, PS3, PSP, and DS are all kids toys.
do not see MS expanding its customer base as a Sign of the Abandoned Hardcore Gamer Apocolypse. I just don't see why I should feel like MS is abandoning me to the wolves of "casual" manor. I will own a Kinect sensor and am expecting my kids to have a mountain of fun.
With most of your statement except the beginning. I vehemently disagree that a person not be allowed to speak their opinion; even if that opinion makes no sense or is contrary to logical thinking. Sapient beings should have the right to freedom of opinion. However, pushing that aside, I found your comment bubble worthy.
I think, as long as the game allows him to be as uncreative as he wants, then that should diminish his creataphobia.
was a very nice read. I like the way Kinect is implemented into the experience.
read.
is freaking tough, and i am really not that far. 800 msp today only act now.
am respectful of other people's culture and faith, but that certainly seems like a claustrophobic environment in which to live. I do wish them well in making games reflective of their culture. It just makes me wander which culture?
that is not an accurate discription of their conclusion, quite the opposite really.
agree.
find the K butler ads to be similar to political ads in the sense that they are rife with negativity, and every now and they crack me up. I freely admit to only viewing 4-5 commercials though, so maybe they are not all like that.
of you that hate on Oprah because "insert asinine reason here" crack me up. Oprah has done wonderful things for people, and I am sure she has left an indelible mark on history. I agree that hate is a word that should not just be bandied about so casually; concordantly, neither should the word love, for they both are powerful.
I would love an upadated (360 version) TF2, and HLEP3, everything else would just be gravy.
