So who is making this new disc? Microsoft couldn't afford to do it, they'd lose money because nobody else would use it and the shareholders quite clearly stated last year they are not happy with the Xbox 360 leaking money and will cut their losses and force the gaming division to seperate if more losses occur.

Hotz never bought a game for the PS3? It quite clearly states on many games that it was produced by SCEA, it is kind of hard to miss it... it's on the start up screen when you launch games.

Patching is good if it to include features people are asking for, but when they patch to fix bugs then it is down to extremely lazy coding and testing.

You do own the hardware. But not the software. You can what you wish the hardware. But not the software.
