The reason that first person games coming from MS matters is that it shows the level of commitment they have in their brand. Why did they pay for Tomb Raider instead of creating a new Ip? Why isn't cup head a game that was incubated within MS development studios? Why is PUBG such a big deal to them even tho they had nothing to do with the creation of that game? Or maybe they saw that EA was milking the GAAS model and wanted a piece of that, I'm not surprised that they backed a game like PUBG. MS has a huge problem in that they don't have an identity and latch onto anything specially if they think it will make them money. MS needs more games that appeal to different gamers IMO they have chosen to go after a very specific crowd and while that crowd has been loyal it's also the reason they don't appeal to more gamers.

What more proof do you need their actions speak louder than words, MS has closed many studios and was starting to focus on games as a service. Even some of their flagship titles had MT, until I see actual projects and games announced I will be skeptical. MS needs more development talent and so far that is not what I'm seeing from them.

Knowing Nintendo they will over price this and sell as premium card board. Not even hating if Nintendo is able to sell this more power to them and those people saying it's a great idea good luck, but we are talking about recyclable card board here.

LOL. None of the current consoles are perfect just pick the one that suits your needs. The PS4 has been that for me awesome first party exclusives and full third party support means I get to play a lot of games. PSVR is also something that interest me so for my needs the PS4 is perfect.

People keep forgetting the most obvious, yes the Switch is the most underpowered console of the three but it has something the others don't. Yes they are about portability but the vita had problems from the start from lack of third party support to it's proprietary memory card being expensive. The vita was more expensive than the 3DS so it makes sense that Nintendo won they had less expensive hardware with way more software available.
