Here is the thing many people want variety and is what is offered by Sony outside of PC the PS4 is the best place to play because it has a wide variety of games. EA historically has been a garbage publisher they are as corporate as a game company can get. Who cares why it's selling out the point is that it is, yes the price drop is the reason it's selling out but if it the console wasn't worth picking up it wouldn't sell. Even with a price drop I have zero interest in the xbox one because it has no games I want to play unlike Sony that has many games coming soon next year.
If we are honest without Disney shedding light on this and EA taking a hit on their stock, I don't think mainstream media would have covered this story and gotten legislators taking a hard look at EA and it's business practices. Many gamers have been wanting regulation on this matter because it was getting out of hand, hopefully more publishers will think twice before implementing these BS practices.

Don't you know JRPG's don't count to them they don't play them and they wonder why MS can't get traction in the Japanese market. Biggest reason not to buy the X? It has zero new Ip's I want, I can play all my third party games on PC or PS4 Pro. LOL. Won I don't think MS looks at it that way MS is losing money with each xbone x they sell. So no they ain't winning jack. They may have better specs but they have less games, less new ip's, less software sales, and lost a substantial part of the market share they had gained with the 360 so no MS ain't winning they are losing as they have every single generation since they entered the console market.
Well it is a valid question where are the exclusives? Sony's first party games always get a lot of talk and wether you like them or not they can only be played on a Sony console. IMO MS is trying to be a steam machine only problem is that Valve is doing a much better job and PC's are way more versatile and powerful so MS seems like a jack of all trades master of none. I don't understand the apologetic nature some of you have I don't like that single player games now have MT. In some games MT make sense but the way some of these publishers are trying to shoe horn them into every game is sickening. It is ruining games and slowly games will all be service based when that happens I will stop playing them.
The Switch is doing good it carved out a nice niche audience among core gamers with it's hybrid console but time will tell how good the Switch is actually doing and more importantly if third party developers are going to support it long term. Very nice turn around for Nintendo but they have away's to go to catch up in features vs their competition.

Even with all this power talk I have yet to see a better looking game than Horizon Zero Dawn running on a PS4 pro on a 4K HDR Tv. Yes the x will run games better and have better resolution on games where developers choose to spend more time but the difference is negligible the Pro holds it's own and until MS show cases an exclusive AAA game showing the power of the x it won't matter to a lot of people.
