LOL. In your opinion they are overrated the fact remains that they are one of the main reasons why Sony is beating MS. So even if you don't like one single Sony exclusive many people do and that is the truth even if it hurts your feelings.
What is wrong with these people it's not supposed to acuaretly portray real life it is fiction, some people seek attention at any cost even if that means having to tear down someone else's artistic vision and interject their particular world view and pass it off as an opinion or critique.

Well it's going to depend on wether the FPS community agrees with these statements or not if they don't no amount of sugar coating is going to save the game.
I have owned various consoles through various generations as my time becomes more and more precious it's hard justify owning multiple consoles I like the PS4 and Switch combo PS4 for all my AAA gaming needs, and the Switch for gaming on the Go. Everyone has their own preference and needs and should buy what suits them.

If MS is making all this money why don't they invest any of it on the gaming division? MS is more interested in putting in place services with which they can extract as much money form every single user than they are in making good games.

Some of you are full of BS I agree Arkham Asylum was a great game and even now stands the test of time but Arkham knight was a huge let down Spiderman is clearly better than Arkham Knight hands down it's sad that Asylum was better than the Arkham City and Knight which forced the Bat mobile on you and had tons of filler side missions involving the Bat mobile that just got tedious.

This is why I hate critics, who hate anything that is popular where was the hate for Assassins Creed Origins, Watch Dogs 2 both praised but did they reinvent the wheel? Nope these kinds of critics seem to have different ways to deal with certain games namely exclusives.

Played the first one it was a great old school RPG, by all accounts they improved everything from the first titled player be warned this game is a time sink. Unless you are ready to devote time I suggest you skip it or otherwise you will find yourself getting pissed off at the level of dedication needed to beat the game.

Exclusives give a console an idenity but they are derived out of the need to stand out and be competitive. It has always been this way for F sakes Sega made a hole ad campaign out of it when they went head to head with Nintendo. People that want all games on all platforms don't understand free markets and the need to at least appear different or offer consumer choice.

This is a marketing ploy to lock you in their eco system, hey whatever works.
