Yeah there is no comparison as it stand right now the technology isn't there yet even if it is the future latency is a major problem even for streaming in 4K so streaming something like a video game is way more problematic and until there is "NO" noticeable latency this will continue to hinder any talk of streaming only devices. It will be a long while before we have dedicated streaming only gaming consoles.
They aren't obliged to change but the scoring and praise of their games should end. There is no excuse for them other than that they got left behind in a genre that has evolved and improved exposing their lack of talent or lazy effort in their part.

This reminds me of the "best game lineup in history" courtesy of MS. Oh how some people have short memories the PS2 had way more value. Fist of all digital media wasn't a thing yet so that meant that the build in DVD player in PS2's offered way more value than the 4K player in today's market. The problem isn't a preference the problem is when fanboys of whatever console start to say things beyond any sense or rational and only troll for the sake of trolling. Ok then why are there MT in single player games to begin with? I don't see gamers asking for them quite the opposite. There is only one reason to make more money you can prahse whichever way you want but like I said publishers push the line until gamers get fed up, yes these MT may seem inconsequential but sooner or later you end up with something as agreous as with Battlefront.
Then why have it as option to buy? If there are gamers that actually took the time to play the game and work at getting the item, the fact that there is an option to buy forgoes the people that actually took the time to get it and cheapens it for them. At this point it's not even an AC game anymore after Origins they have completely gone in a different direction oddly enough why not just make a new Ip instead of milking the AC name. They just explained why not everyone's experience has been great there are still way too many variables that hinder streaming only gaming. Until technology can pretty much eliminate latency this will continue to be a topic of discussion, for every good experience there are a half a dozen or more bad ones.
