If TR was as good as Uncharted then everyone would be saying that square enix is setting the bar and that's just not the case Naughty Dog does that with each game they make and that's the difference. I get that some people might prefer the openness and gameplay of TR but the Uncharted series has always proven it's quality. A game is judged not only by it's gameplay but by it's story and character development something the TR series seriously lacks.

No one is forcing you to there are plenty of MS and Nintendo fanboys on here that post all kinds of nonsense, so why is it that only Sony comments bug you? As far as Nintendo being the console for everyone that is just hyperbole because it's not true for every gamer specially those that wish to play current generation third party games like Red Dead 2 or Cyberpunk 2077.

There is a huge PS fanbase on N4G so why do people come on here and try to dictate to other people how they should feel about a topic? It's disgusting that you choose to express your opinion on an open forum and then get surprised when people don't agree with you. In other words you don't want anyone criticizing Nintendo and their fans even though not everyone agrees with your opinion about the Switch being the best console. In sure it is for some but not all and it certainly would never be my primary console.

How are they not in control they are allowing this to happen at any time they can reverse their stance I would say they are very much in control not only that but so far they are only allowing cross play with it's competitors with Fortnite on a trial basis as far as I know, but sure they caved. LOL
No one begged? You should go to one of the many articles written about cross play most of the negativity was coming from xbox fanboys. So they didn't beg they just bitched and moaned about a feature that many PS gamers didn't care about one way or the other. It benefits all gamers sure but not all gamers cared about it not nearly as much as xbox fanboys you take your guess as to why that was.
MS has never won a single generation how exactly has it been the console of choice? Oh you mean when it had zero competition because it released a whole year ahead of it's competitor and even with that advantage they still came in last place.
Who cares about xbox gamers they seemed content with the meager offerings that MS gives them, that's why they don't shut up about BC and why cross play was so important to them. Honestly if they reacted to MS lack of exclusives like they did about cross play maybe they would have more first party AAA games.
Bethesda is eating crow they look like hypocrites they had no intention of adding cross play but had no beef calling out Sony on their stance so they should get criticized for taking sides specially since it was never in their plans.

Who cares Bethesda got smoked by CD Project Red they showed them how to do a proper open world third person game. The only good games Bethesda does these days are shooters and those are a dime a dozen. Bethesda does seem to have a bias towards MS I honestly don't care Sony has way more developers support there is a reason why so many Japanese games never see the day of light on the xbox.

Sony has a better track record with single player story based games so it's a no brainer give it to their best studio Naughty Dog it would be awesome to see what they could do with the Star Wars franchise.
Well what metric are we using? Not every game needs to re invent the wheel nor should they it's Insomniacs first attempt at this kind of game. They should be praised for a job well done instead of measuring against established developers like Rockstar if they don't innovate considering how long they have been developing third person open world games I would be disappointed because they tend to set the bar. If only MS fanboys were this loud about telling MS they want more quality first party AAA games maybe they would listen. The truth cuts both ways I really don't care about cross play it's an ok feature for those that want it but it doesn't affect me one way or another and I suspect most PS gamers didn't care either. Sadly some people will still buy the game, if EA can get away with murder every year selling FIFA and Madden nothing surprises me anymore.

Nothing to show? Yeah that's dumb they obviously could show more but they don't want to as many of the up coming games will be on the next gen console. Best decision? Well duh we already know what's coming and they are being tight lipped about future plans so what could they show?
