Both where meh conferences IMO Sony had better games showcased which will also come this year and next year. Whereas MS has shown nothing in the foreseeable future so Sony wins.
MS's conference was ok I guess, they showed mostly third party games some of which are very cool but will also be on the PS4 and PC so they get no points for that. I guess my take is at least they are trying but so far deep into this generation and the next one just around the corner it seems like a lost cause at this point to invest in their console.
The problem is that they really didn't show anything spectacular that will make people want an xbox x. As is it is cool that they are investing in the future, Ninja Theory is an interesting developer with potential but everything they showed was either third party or something that people expected. Nice to see Kingdom Harts 3 and Sekiro available on the xbox one, we will see how well they do on the xbox one.

It's all about expectations never have I thought man those tell tale games are really pushing the genre or even games like Until Dawn that where a pleasant surprise did I ever cry about the game not being what I wanted it to be. I just enjoyed what was presented. Kind of hypocritical of many reviewers to praise tell tale games and critize Detroit Become Human to no end but what can you expect when some people can't put their political or ideological ideas a side to review a game.

The Tomb Raider reboot has done some very interesting things like crafting and a more open world design but Uncharted 4 did beat it in most categories. It would benefit Crystal Dynamics to hire some good writers because the by the end of Rise of the Tomb Raider the story much like the first game was pretty forgettable.

Some of you only see what you want to see yes MS should acquire more studios but the fact is they have had a terrible track record with their third party, second party and even first party studios. Bungy left, Remedy stopped it's exclusive partnership, Platinum's game got canceled. Even 343 studios is stuck making Halo games yeah MS has a lot to learn from Sony when it comes to developing good partnerships.

I thought sales numbers didn't matter? MS fanboys are always moving the goal post, they matter to them only when they have something positive to talk about. I don't know what's more sad that they are releasing number of active players or that SoD2 did well considering the state it was released in.

Why would anyone take the opinion of an xbox fanboy seriously? He hasn't even played the game and basing his comment on the metacritic score. Until Dawn has a review average of 79 as does Detroit Become Human by all indications from gamers that have played the game it's the best game in the genre.
Sony doesn't even need to add games in their ads because gamers already know what console to buy if they want to play games.

No it makes perfect sense older gamers buy games for their kids and guess what they ain't buying Detroit Beyond Human, TLOU, God Of War for them, they are buying Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, etc. Even though many older gamers buy Nintendo consoles for themselves many parents look at Nintendo games as the safer option.
ND got them shooked they better step their game up if they are going to be making stupid comments like that on twitter. Instead of elevating their game nope it's fake because we can't pull it off with Tomb Raider. That is why they are not on ND level they are too busy worrying about the competition to better their own game.
