There was info written a while ago about it. That the original trailer was all cgi and they weren't able to come close to being done by the time the were dropped. Also, the chairwoman is the head guys wife and she has 0 background in game development, and is a public notary... Most devs from their previous game have left. The reason it has continued is by getting funds from the Spanish government (think Schilling screwing over the Rhode island government).

The manga is getting closer, but it's taking so long since the manga (not sure if it still is doing this as it was before) was doing like 2 or so chapters a year for a while (at one point he took at least a 19 week hiatus http://www.skullknight.net/... ). Besides the menu "trait", all the others are far fetched and bull. Crafting materials like destiny? More like Minecraft. Destiny created the "warp" effects? Ever watch star trek or star wars? Not all DLC is paid DLC. Updates and patches are usually mandatory if you want to log in to the servers (or automatic if you click check for updates), while DLC isn't. Witcher 3 had a bunch of free DLC missions that you could download (but weren't required) as well as paid DLC, in addition to updates / patches for example.
For this game, it'll most likely be in update form as you're connecting to servers.

The original trailer was all CGI, which is why Sony eventually canceled funding as they had nothing even close to that (even though they said they finished with "crunch time" about 400 days ago).

When your tracking system is broken and you refuse to fix it (and just all together remove it because it's more "fun" for the players), how the hell are you suppose to find anything? If you don't live close to a major area (or next to a pokestop like my gf), getting pokeballs is a pain and finding any Pokemon can take forever (and usually its the same sh!t over and over - so many rattatas and pidgys)... Not to mention the pokeballs being buggy atm

@Brotherman You don't realize the 3rd party apps are the only way to find pokemon atm... The tracker got broken a while ago and instead of fixing it, they recently remove the steps all together and say it's more fun for the player this way...
If people have the money, it's a slight upgrade till Scorpio comes out next year. Don't see a ton of people really getting it though, as why spend the money when a few months later they have even better systems coming out.
Not many buying the PSVR are going to have to go out buy a PS4 just to use it, and many already have cameras (it came out a while ago). Read the manga. The original anime was amazing back in the day (always loved the engrish intro - "put your grasses on"... "it's to rate it's to rate"), but they cut out a good chunk of content to fit it within the 25 episodes (skull knight was never introduced for example). Also, as much as I loved it, the still images ripped directly from the manga for half the battle scenes was always hilarious.
