@BecauseImBatman Nintendo isn't doing those kinds of deals because they never had any 3rd party support really with the WiiU... Many major companies came out in favor of the WiiU and then bounced once sales were crap. They ended up securing some 3rd party exclusives instead, like Bayonetta 2, since many multiplats just skipped the WiiU overall. Those same companies are coming out in favor of the Switch, though hopefully they stick around a bit longer than they did before.
As long as she does both versions (EN and JP) like she has in the past. I have the theme songs in both English and Japanese for KH 1&2, love them. Hopefully SE doesn't try to use the flavor of the month for the English version (Leona Lewis for XIII, and now Florence & The Machines for XV [though not the main theme]).
Looked interesting till I saw all the previews before it came out with various story missions and such. No love for the hipsters... XP bar replaced with twit followers, why...
"Yes. Also, $599 is not gonna happen. At least by every estimation it shouldn't. "
And neither will $399 or below. Most likely it'll be $499. They'll have to take a huge hit in manufacturing costs to sell below that.
@Neonridr Yah.... FF XIV never released on xbox... It's been talked about, but MS doesn't want it's gamers playing with PC, PS3, and PS4 players.
https://www.amazon.com/Fina... Listed for PC, Mac, PS3, and PS4. You can check regular reborn or Heavensward separately and see the same thing.
If you even played the game, you'd know it's snowing half the time pretty much. Blizzards are fun for running into mobs.
Yep, optional paid DLC packs, that are expensive as hell compared to other packs (I think $7 each...). Other games give you holiday content for free. Overwatch has a bunch of free skins ( http://www.gamespot.com/gal... ), Destiny is doing an event, GTA I believe has an event going on. Then you have subscription games like WoW, ESO, and FF XIV that have Christmas events going on as we...
Easy development won't help sell consoles if they're not as powerful (run as good and look as good) as the competition. Xbone and PS4 are easy to develop for as well right now since they're x86 architecture, and the Pro is out now with the Scorpio next year. They're gonna have to do a lot to convince people to buy the Switch when you have higher powered consoles running around with huge lineups and higher graphics and/or frame rate.
There is already the infinite stamina trick with sprinting, no need to waste an accessory slot for that thing (hold sprint till about 95% of your stamina is gone, then release and rehold. Or click auto run once, then again at 95%, etc). The songs will be a nice addition.
Not just online only, but the peer to peer connection is what is going to p!ss people off.
"But the sales won't be low. It's obvious, you should know..;) "
Cough WiiU Cough...
Comparing consoles and hand helds is like apples and oranges. PS4/Pro are selling like hot cakes, while Vita is dead and in the back seat. WiiU is selling like crap and everyone is abandoning ship (no more new Zelda cough), while 3DS sells pretty damn well.
@Neonridr And Sony learned from the Cell processor with it's next system, and made it more PC like and easier to develop for (with x86).
Exactly. After a great start to the game, it fell into a boring repetitive circle of the same side missions over and over. No variety like GTA.
"Bruh", reading is hard. That "they" ("they just lock them down to a single franchise") was referring to MS, not Naughty Dog / Sony (which you agreed with - "While Microsoft forced bungie to work on Halo franchise until Bungie decided to buy themselves to be free"...).
And all the coddled 20 year olds these days with "safe spaces" are adults? He starts out as a kid and by the end, becomes a man. Look at how he acts in the beginning (not wanting to deal with things / his responsibilities) and then look at how he is in the end, especially that campfire.
I'm surprised they released the game on Sat when normally games come out Tues or Fri (says on the PSN store, 12/3 - Sat). Heard a ton about the game a while ago and then nothing lately really. Probably due to it being released right after the huge hype train of FF XV.
Warframe is a fun game. Ton of content, and you can unlock gear / warframes without really needing to use the cash shop.
War Thunder, fun but a huge time sink to unlock vehicles.
And the most expensive game pretty much as well. Epic / purple mounts that take a long time to farm, or $30ish from the cash shop (account wide luckily), top end minions/helpers/companions are like $20 (not account wide), and the Dragonborn race is like $75... At least the other games are reasonable with their cash shops...
Overall, a fun game, but overpriced cash shop.
Having tried the betas, all it's made me want to do is pop in SSX3 or Tricky. Played the hell out of those games with a friend of mine, and this game isn't even close in the fun department.
Sony spent money on 3rd party exclusives (every company has spent money on 3rd party exclusives, and many small devs do exclusive as they only have so many resources / pick the bigger user base), MS spent money delaying DLC by 30 days to a year+. They locked up COD DLC last gen for ~30 days and spent $50 mill for GTA IV DLC to be delayed a year+ for the PC and PS3 (October / February 2009 for 360 Ballad / Lost, to March 2010 for PC and PS3 versions). It's not the same...
