Buying a 4 year old online multiplayer game that had a new one come out a year and a half ago, and not expecting the online community to be dead? Research what you buy or sign contracts for, not everything in life can be returned. That said, as long as the ticket was opened within 24 hours they should honor their own policy.

@Papa He has left the game, but only after he penned the whole script and extra for later on. Pretty much there's nothing left for him to do till the game comes out and they need more stuff for future content, so he's doing his own thing till then. He's worked on ME, DA, and KotOR, so the story should come out pretty well. They've shown 1 or 2 story trailers, but most has been focusing on the gameplay and loot which is what people will be spending hundreds of hours doing. ...

If you did play the Alpha, then you signed an NDA which is still under effect according to most people that have played the alpha and released videos lately of some gameplay with Bioware approval (since things have changed and bioware didn't want people discussing the alpha, while stuff is being changed). So you're either breaking the NDA by discussing the alpha or you watched videos and 'played it'... Hopefully not breaking the NDA...

As for your comments...

Polishing it up and avoid launching a rough game in a time frame with a bunch of big name games coming out. If they drop it soon, the earliest it'll release will probably be around April or so to avoid the next huge grouping of big name games (Feb and March).

Hopefully if enough people buy it, they'll eventually release dragon's dogma online outside of Japan.

Don't buy digital? You can't return on PSN and xbox live really (unless you're in the EU/UK?).

Also, a free demo that you can play for a few days, several weeks in advance of the game release to see if you want to pay for the full version, is a bad thing?

@Omnisonne Pre-order you get to play in the end of January for 3 days. In beginning of Feb, they have an demo for everyone (not just pre-orders) that you can play for 3 days as well.

Pretty much. When devs release a "beta" within a month of the game releasing, it's basically a demo as any feed back they get and bugs they find out are not going to really make it into a day one patch. With online games, it's more of a stress test for the servers.

As for refreshing, they are doing a lot lately to try to get people interested after the fails of Andromeda and the EA name in general. They're answering tons of questions constantly an...

Its basically diablo (loot style) meets warframe with the original writer for dragon age and kotor penning the story. Hopefully the story is good, as they've focused more on the gameplay and loot so far for what they've shown.

@ginga No, more like if it was a black dad, white mom, and 2 mixed race kids, its be a different show. All of one race is not a diverse cast. However, you still get some great shows that are not diverse, but are still fun for everyone to watch.

Diversity for diversity sake is annoying. Forcing things into games or shows just to pander to one group, rather than letting the writers or the people behind the scenes tell their story tends to do more harm than good. If you ...

Because people are idiots. Legion of Dawn edition is just a few skins and a weapon, it says so in every description in all the stores. The only way to get an early start with EA games is through the EA access crap. With PC, you get a week early. With xbox, 10 hours total playtime before release, a week early. It's not hard to understand. PS4 doesn't have the EA access, so they get it release day. It has nothing to do with what edition you get, and more about their service crap....

The game length was answered a bit ago (almost a month ago) in an article.

"In terms of the main story with the Monitor and the Dominion, will it be comparable in scale to BioWare’s single-player titles?

I would say it’s comparable. The trick there is that we allow you to do a lot more things in betwe...

TOS usually say you can't modify game files. Single player games, no one bats an eye about. Online only multiplayer? That field of view mode might give someone a little edge. Overall they can't always tell if the files you modded are giving you an unfair advantage over others, so they just ban everyone. Don't want to get banned, don't mod a multiplayer online only game.

Playing offline on PC shouldn't get you banned. Online is where you might.

One article the other day mentioned if you go through the files for the game, you can see all the stuff for Ark and it's DLC in there. Hilarious that they try to pass it off as a full game for more money, rather than giving it to people that paid for the season pass.

It is less destiny, and more Warframe meets Diablo. 1 avatar with 4 frames/javelins you can switch out to, a ton of customization/loot, and a story from the guy who did KotOR, DA, and ME. And if you read the article, it there's a bunch of variety in the missions so it's not just run from 1 end to the other to fight the boss like in Destiny.

When they called it BGE2 a prequel and have an evil jade in the trailer rushing at Pey'j with a katana, that killed my hype more than always online (which is hilariously stupid as well). Overall it seems like they're trying to exploit people's nostalgia for a 15 year old game with an always online, customizable main character, beatem up type game that doesn't look anything like the original in terms of gameplay.

If people want to voice their concerns, do...

When you're trying to trim down your work force, option leave packages tend to come before terminations. It also looks nicer in public, as opposed to firing people around the holidays. They started off doing customer service severance packages, before letting other people get it. They're trying to trim people making a ton of money with seniority so they can hire cheaper people to do the job. All they want is cheap labor and IP access.

Capcom's done a ton of content for MH:W throughout the year, and warframe drops new content a lot as well. It can be done without a season pass, so unless the devs are lying then the only thing they'll be selling is cosmetics (and you see what you buy, no loot boxes).

As for content out the box, " "Devs stated on stream that the length of the main narrative content and things to do in Anthem pre 'Elder Game' (what they are calling thier End Game e...
