It's hilarious to see them boasting and such one generation, and the next set of consoles come around and they share less and less. Even Nintendo was releasing sales figures when they were getting crushed with WiiU.
The series should have been in a similar style to some of the old Naruto games. If you've watched the anime, its fast paced combat with over the top attacks. The game doesn't even look as good as some recent turn based games...
Tried the beta. That's about right. Lag, texture pop in.
The first thing people think of when they think of Fairy Tail is obviously turn based combat...
They said the same about Anthem. Look how well that turned out...
Watch the gameplay, it's not close to a true souls game. It's more hack and slash, and like a shadow of mordor type fighting with AI that wait their turn to attack you...
And not everyone has unlimited 100+ mbps up/down connections.

@343. Probably that instead of creating interesting new characters, they take an old character, and make it a minority or female and claim diversity. I'm all for representation, but why not create something new instead of riding on the coattails of the previous. But then you have cases like Thor Girl who no one cared about, so they made Thor a woman for a bit...
It should have a long time ago with the protests in Hong Kong / police brutality (shooting a 14 year old?), the crap China has done to the Uigur ("China accused of genocide over forced abortions of Uighur Muslim women" and the blindfolding hundreds with armed military all around / sending them to camps...), organ harvesting, crap with Taiwan, and all the other fun crap done by Emperor Pooh.

Its actually cheaper over the long run if you buy more than 1 month. Month to month, they're the same ($10), but ps now gives a discount for the more time bought. At 1 year, its $60 total, which is half the price of gamepass.

Wildlands let you play offline, no rng weapon loot and leveling which was only tied to skill points, and only cosmetic micro transactions. Breakpoint looks nice, but they really screwed up the series...
Hopefully it doesn't unlock via microtransactions...
And same goes for PS Now or PS+, you can always find deals on Black Friday or such (I never pay full price for PS+). But the regular price structure is set up in PS Now's favor.
And PS Now works on PC as well without any extra costs. And if you're only playing PS Now on PC (don't care for multiplayer on PS4 or don't have a PS4), you don't need a PS+ sub to play multiplayer, so it is even more savings.
I read the article an the ubi release doesn't mention next gen... It mentions polishing/more time for optimal experience for players, but not specifically for next gen.
