Isn't as good as COD4 in some ways, but it's better in some other ways.
I love the dogs. That is just awesome. Period. And then there're the tanks. Just a terrible idea. A game like COD is dependent on a great multiplayer, so a fundamental design flaw like the tank is a severe flaw. It makes those maps unplayable, and not enjoyable. The single player is just incredible tho.
For me, it's a 7.5. The tank is just too problematic, too big of a flaw.
LBP probably has the most replay value outside of shooters. Create your own, play other people's BRILLIANT levels. Some of them are just SUPERB.
I usually look for more to a sequel than just a graphics upgrade.
Anyways, bringing up Mario Kart Wii is a good point...Mario Kart DS was much better imo...Mario Kart Wii was a failure sequel in my opinion. It's not that it's not fun. It's just that it's not as good as the ones before.
Brawl is a huge step back from Melee. Yes, the graphics is much better. The gameplay is terrible tho. Me and my friends are pretty hardcore melee players, and we all hate brawl (bought it first day too). The slow gameplay makes it very frustrating for melee players (youtube if you don't know what i mean). Paying any amount of money to do basic things that others get for free IS a lot of money. I don't care if it's 1 cent a day. A penny more is a penny too much for FREE ONLINE PLAY.
I gotta agree that Live has more people talking, but...that's not always a good thing. In fact, I hate it when a lot of people are talking during a match because it's just noise and gets in the way of the sound of the game.

I totally agree. Now's not the time for fanboyish crap. People are losing jobs out there and that's scary. It doesn't matter if it's Sony or MS employees, a recession is just bad for the gaming industry. Job cuts are never easy. I do hope that MS would stop spending money to buy exclusive JRPGs because that does nothing but take games away from the proper audience and waste money.

You have a PS3 and a 360, and you buy all the games on both systems? That's just retarded. First off, it's retarded to buy all the games for one platform because not all of them are good and some are just a waste of money. Microsoft makes the money from the PC port. But in other cases (Mass Effect), MS doesn't. So PC allows PS3 gamers to play 360 games, which diminishes the necessity to buy a 360. So in that way, 360 lost its exclusive.
Being an exclusive means that gamers can only play that game exclusively on that platform. Now, gamers gets a choice of 2 platforms, which means that it's not exclusive anymore. Get it?
There are TONS of C compilers out there. People don't use Visual Studios for the compiler, it's because it's the most noob-friendly. But no, you don't need visual studio at all. And it's an insult to think that any of the top PC game developers use Visual Studio. Most of the games that you buy at the store will not use visual studio.
And no, you don't need visual studio to make a game. At bare minimum, you can make anything with just notepad.

This job cut isn't a real job cut, it may be just to replace American workers with cheaper foreign workers. End of last year, Bill Gates requested that congress allow MS to hire more foreign engineers simply because (and I paraphrase) American engineers aren't good enough. And now that they've hired a bunch of foreign engineers, they're cutting 5000 American workers. Hmmmm....

You fail: the article says "decreased" not "deceased." Besides, they never "fixed" the problem. A fixed problem would mean that the problem wouldn't persist anymore, and so far, so many more RRODs to come.

But I hated Brawl. Every good character got nerfed significantly. Every character got a lot slower. Most advance techniques are now taken out. It makes SSB too casual for me, which became boring since I played Melee as a hardcore game.
Great game for casual players, bad game if you are expecting it to be like Melee with online.

360 is equally good, if not better at times still. That's probably cuz devs put more effort and time into the 360 version cuz it's the one with a bigger install base.
But yeah, as far as potential goes (looking at 1st party games), PS3 definitely has the edge.
