We need to remind people that units sold does not equal quality.

Calling Halo Wars good because it's the best console RTS is like calling wet poop good because it's the best form of diarrhea.
I know it's the best console RTS, but that doesn't make it good. It's still broken. Both sides have too similar units. Tech tree is abysmal. Maps are tiny. Resource gathering is basically done for you. Still crappy control (just less crappy). Barely any strategy involved.

Speaking from experience, Splinter Cell on the 360 was the slowest, worst frame rate, worst pop-in game in a long time.

I saw a wanted ad in Edge for Senior Game Designer, level designer, and a whole bunch of other people. So yeah, I guess it's starting soon.
I think GG needs to wait for user response to KZ2 to know what to fix, what to update, what to change, and what to be added.
They need more play responses from the masses. Let the game roll for at least a couple months. Check some forums on the internet. And then decide on what they need to put into KZ3.

Here's how I see it. If you pay for Live, you get to play online, but Sony gamers gets to play online AND get those games for the same price.
If you choose to not pay for Live, you get to buy those games but can't play online, but Sony gamers get to play online AND get games.
Either way, Sony gamers win because they can do both with $50, while 360 gamers have to choose only one thing given $50.

That reminds me of Gears a lot...How you spend hours trying to save this guy's girl in the middle of the freaking war. How every character gets the annoying football jock attitude.
And they said the gameplay is amazing with an even better multiplayer. KZ2's gameplay rivals Call of Duty 4 and has exhiliartion that matches the original Golden Eye. That alone...should be at least an 8.

I respectfully disagree. I seriously hated Gears, and I was super excited for that game too. I played it, hated it, and then gave it second chance, and confirmed my hate for it. If you want to talk about generic, Gears is just cover then shoot, and that's it. What you are reacting to, is Joystiq's interpretation of Sony's newsletter, which is on the bottom half. So you are actually angry at Joystiq I guess since that's what you are responding to.
You'd be surprised at how many PS3 owners and gamers in general think GS is absolutely unbiased and that there are no bias against the PS3 in journalism in any way.
I was on PS3 forums arguing with this guy who claims that these biases are just PS3 fanboys whining. I even cited a whole bunch of stuff, but he was still too stubborn to understand. What's worse is that some people actually agree with him.

The controller is fine. I prefer the PS position of analog because i don't have to have 1 finger up and 1 finger down at the same time. ANd the D-pad on the PS3 is much much better than 360. I just need them to fix the trigger buttons, and i'm set.
But yeah, twice as good isn't good enough for me. I want a jump from PSX to PS2, from PS2 to PS3, from PS3 to The Matrix.
