Graphics are extremely important in a game. When I play a game, I look for the entire experiment of the entire game package. Graphics definitely contributes to that. It doesn't have to be technically good, but as long as it builds more on the gaming experience, then it's great.

If to gamers, a game fails when it doesn't sell as much as the publishers hope it would, then KZ2 probably failed.
But if to gamers, a game fails when the game itself fails to meed a gamer's expectation and delivers a sub-hype experience, then I would disagree. KZ2 delivered on pretty much everything I wanted in that game and then some.

Why does it matter to gamers how hard it is to program for a console? Personally, I don't care how they do it, I just care about the final product. If it's something that I'd buy, I'd buy it. I believe that 360 don't get the rap as much as PS3s do because PS3 fans are much more vocal and Sony has a much better communication with its base (facebook, blogs, forums, even Home).

Animation is probably the best I've ever seen at the time (Drake had like 10 different animation just for taking cover at the same cover). You are the first to ever complain that gunfights are "too much." I don't even know what that means. Too much guns? Maybe there are some pop-ins that I've failed to notice because the game really is gorgeous. And L1 to aim and R1 to shoot is borrowed from COD4, which is arguably the best shooter in..ever.
