Come to PC gaming.
You can buy a digital copy and physical copy over time for the price of the full retail version.
Call me paranoid, but I know there will be a day where these licenses for these digital purchases will expire and won't pass down. With a physical copy you can pass them down.
For instance a month after Max Payne 3 was released for PC it went on sale for $30 digital Steam copy. I bought that and bought the brand new game for...
I've had enough of these "Why" articles. This is all a matter of opinion.
I loved Sleeping Dogs, and I think Watch Dogs is great too, and I know once I play GTAV it will be awesome too.
This is seriously getting ridiculous, trying to get people to jump on Band Wagons for no reason.
Yes, this is what they have said. Which sucks IMO.
I honestly haven't beaten The Witcher 2, but The Witcher 1, was more than enough to entice me into this universe.
I am however going to beat it soon and replay it with the other storyline arching and possibly even do another play through of The Witcher 1, to get a refresher for W3.
@Random....
Test prices really.. WTF do you think this is 1865?
This is 2014. They have betas, focus groups, Q&As for this kind of stuff.
Playstation Now should just be included with Playstation Plus. They are getting $50 from millions of people already. This could be even more incentive for people to move onto a different console. They should just have a small premium of maybe a few dollars, because you won't ever really own the game...
I have some nice indie titles as well, but I have a lot of major titles too.
I'm still a bit hesitant on buying Dead Rising 3. I'll see how that goes and what news arises come say July or August before I pre-order that. It will always be around so no hurry.
I have the latest titles too, Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein, Killer is Dead, just some that have been released very recently. But I can't buy too many games at such a high price. When you as the othe...
I don't know why you got so many disagrees, when you stated a fact.
Leave this as a lesson. I'm not here to badger, but this is the main reason I do not like digital and only buy digital on good sales.
For PC for example I use websites or sources where I can get my PC games for at least some type of percentage off.
I can't justify especially on the PC spending $50 and on the occasion $60 on a game I won't own.
...
Thats horrible lmao.
So you've paid an estimated $10.10 for each game.
I have to get at least 20-30 games for that much. Last year I spent nearly $200, but I've gotten my library to over 1k games.
Yes the former CEO John Ricitello sp* came out and said it.
When your CEO comes out and bashes you as a company. You've known you screwed up.
I run a clan that used to play Battlefield games. Now we are just playing random games.
I see no point in buying an EA game any time soon.
@Yi-Long.
Belive me that is nothing. Try playing Assassin's Creed 2 or Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands.
I have great Internet and those games were horrible with the DRM implementation.
I'm a pretty big Microsoft supporter but regardless of the game I still won't buy an Xbox One.
They have yet to show a true killer app for it.
Any one who is a true gamer will always opt for the PC version.
I still enjoy my Xbox 360 but seriously don't see the need to make the switch to an Xbox One any time soon.
LOL. Sadly most companies are just dumping games on Steam with very little effort. And they are getting away with it.
I'm a huge Steam user, over 1000 games on it and counting, but the amount of crap they throw on there is just devs/publishers -- if they self publish, trying to get a quick buck.
I don't support early access, I will buy the game once its finished because to me the bugs, and such will just offset my pleasure and enjoyment. And any game ...
Who trashes the company they work for? What a moron.
A person who has balls. People who voice their opinion and don't care about getting fired are the ones that will succeed because they are actually happy at what they do.
I go to every job not caring if I get fired that same minute, I know I'll find another job as I do it very well.
Its good he is voicing his opinion because he knows the issues and the lack of effort Capcom is puttin...
Well they've said there are visual improvements. Some good improvements and additions to Last Light, but Metro 2033 would benefit the most as they've ported it to the Last Light engine.
$25 for PC owners does seem way too steep for me personally and since I've enjoyed and beat both games no real reason to go play it again.
If it were lets say a $9.99 download, maybe.
Just like the movie industry, the gaming industry is getting lack luster with HD remakes and ridiculous sequels.
I love Sleeping Dogs, got all achievements on the PC version, but why on earth does the PC version need an HD version when the game released with an HD texture pack?
What is going on here?
Battlefield 4 had to be the most disappointing release for a BF game ever.
BF4 was an early access release.
Getting my white PS4 come September mainly for this game and some other nice Sony exclusives.
From a high end PC gamer I have to say this is the one of the many reasons to get a console.
I have always been impressed with what Sony and their first party developers do on the PS.
What I think they mean is in comparison to what the price of those cards where at launch.
If for example the 780ti was $800 at launch the new 880ti may possibly less than that ie $700~, not be $500 while the 780ti is still $800.
Yup, this is the time I will upgrade my PC completely with this specifically in mind.
I have a GTX670 FTW GPU and its holding tight running most games on ultra still. But I know with these new and more powerful games it won't cut it coming to the end of the year if I want to continue to play on Ultra settings.
Go look at a female outside.
Well with this particular Collector's Edition you get that thing don't even know what to call it, with the Griffin and Geralt chopping the head off.
I think that makes it a bit more limited as they will only create so many of those.
