I've had both consoles for a while, and while I prefer the Playstation I do have to say the Xbox Live community is a lot better, granted the people are morons or 12 year olds, but you do have the overall larger population on Xbox.
With PS4 and Playstation Plus being a requirement now for online multiplayer it thrives just as well though.

PC read/write compared to TiVo is miniscule. You aren't writing HDTV programming on a hard drive 24/7.
And you aren't reading and writing on a PC constantly either. Most of the load stays on the RAM. Very minor things stay cached on the HDD/SSD.
It's why when you forcibly shut down a lot of things get lost and gives the warning with the exception of some very small files.

I agree, but honestly what else could they have done besides fetch quests? In games like this ie Dead Rising, what more is there to do. You are pretty much thrown in a world with a crap load of enemies and some funky ass guns.

What I want to see aside from a new Tony Hawk game is all the originals re-released on PC, on Steam specifically.
The outdated DRM and multiple disks for the later games is a hassle. Trying to reinstall American Wasteland with 5 CDs and that DRM on Windows 8 is annoying.
Call of Duty was partially realistic with 1 and 2 on PC, after 3 it became the Quake mod that it was envisioned to be. Meaning it is not realistic at all.
And Battlefield, tried to be a bit "Counter-Strikish" with recoil and such, but Battlefield 4 has sullied the game, and the fact that EA is now trying to follow Activision releasing a shooter a year and is failing.

Sadly it wasn't 60FPS on consoles, but it definitely was 120 FPS on PC.
It looked amazing too. The fluid movement and combat at 120FPS really showed what this game could do. Extremely happy with this game.
