Consoles are holding back current gen.
While those games look fantastic, if they were released on PC they would look even better.
Hell even Uncharted 1-3 and The Last of Us look beautiful, I even dare to say that Lair was pretty great.
The fact stands that these games would look better on PC.
The debate of graphics can't be denied that PC will always win it has more power. But again, it still stands that the PS3 and PS4 do have the better looking games for console.
That is a ridiculous list of mods.
I'd like a simple list to get the most beautiful mods to enhance graphics more than UI/Gameplay.

I do agree with you to an extent though. Ubisoft is by far the biggest offender.
They have consistently released great games that were/are horribly optimized for PC. Future Soldier, Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed, and most recently Watch Dogs.
All really great games but all sucked on PC at launch.
I forgive Bethesda because quite frankly aside from the storyline and core game play their games look horrible. Fallout 3 looked disgusting...

I played and beat the main storyline with some mods near release. But I would love to play the entire game and all DLC with these improvements.
Someone seriously needs to make a list of the best and most robust mods for Skyrim.

Mass Effect 1 was fantastic and had great rpg elements. They dumbed down Mass Effect 2 but that plus the DLC was still great.
I too, never even finished the third game. I have the collectors edition of each and the strategy guides as well. Shepard was a great character but now he's dead with the franchise.
This has more color, but the BF3 version looked better.
I have to agree with him. While Borderlands 1 was a risky move by their part, luckily it did bring the success and a huge following.
Borderlands 2 improved on their great formula, but what could they do with BL3?
I'd personally like to see them take a decent break and put their efforts toward something else. Learn some new techniques in terms of game play and graphics, gather some really great experience and release a new Borderlands.
I don't know if Destiny will entice people, but that White PS4 it is bundled with definitely will.
Plus Sony and there in my opinion better exclusives line up has already sold many people.

I'm happy and all for these new consoles, but damn don't slack on PC.

This game does look great.
The Sniper Elite games have always been graphically amazing and fun, but with this latest title it has gotten extremely linear.
Sniper Elite 1 was just horribly amazing how open the world was. You really had to be a sniper, it was extremely frustrating.
With V2 they toned it down substantially and now with this one, it looks amazing on maxed out settings and downsampling, but it sucks is so closed in.

This whole debate against Microsoft has to stop, both companies want your money, point blank.
I don't think they necessarily care more about gamers, as they are a business like Microsoft.
But, Sony is smart enough to understand that their product is to sell games, therefore they release some fantastic first party titles for their console.
Sony isn't as bad as Microsoft, but they have had their mishaps where they try to squeeze a few dollars out of people.

If they (Microsoft) were to show a lovely demo of me doing all those voice commands and having those APPs and games on PC, sure I could consider it, because I would love to automate some daily commands by voice.
I'm a huge Microsoft supporter and user. I have a very nice high end gaming PC, and its the reason why I've seen no reason to buy consoles for the past few years.
With that being said, I think Microsoft has some of the dumbest, smartest people working for them.

They put a halt on the Medal of Honor series because it didn't sell the millions of copies like Call of Duty.
They release Battlefield 4 probably a year earlier than they should have, and are now releasing Battlefield Hardline which is just a mod for BF4.
And now they are going to release this BS with Sims 4 and god knows what else.

I was holding off on buying a PS4 too early because there aren't that many exclusives out for it yet. But this white PS4 really enticed me. Now I'll play Destiny a bit Killzone and Infamous Second Son. Nothing else I've seen called my attention.
