@4.3 - In this article it states that you can only play music from the local HDD. I guess I could copy some tunes down temporarily to the HDD on the PS3 and use it. I think it would be cool to have custom music for bowling with some friends.

Disappointing that they didn't actually say if this bowling game is good or garbage!!!! Why can't the PS3 have demos for all these titles like the 360.. oh well, not buying it until I hear how well the Sixaxxis works. Anybody try yet?
The industry has a big credibility problem.
You hit the nail on the head.. That is the reason why many are disappointed and could be the reason MCE is not able to play them. I did hear however that a big Media Center update is coming for the PC in the next month and this could very well get fixed. But still I don't think MS will ever have full support for all flavors of DiVX/XViD.

MS has been working on DiVX since last year. I wish I could refer you to the various Major Nelson podcasts where he is hinting at the support being added but I'm too lazy.
Still it has been a complete let-down so far. It plays absolutely ZERO of my XViD/DiVX files and I also use Media Center so no support makes it a total bust for me. The PS3 is nothing but a total pain in the azz to stream media and ugly to boot. MCE is sooo much nicer but I am going to be very interested ...

If people actually played the thing I doubt many of them would be camping out for it. It's great fun for an evening then it's just plain annoying. A buddy actually let me borrow his for a month because he didn't care about it much anymore.. After a few days I can completely see why.
I've never had any of those problems you are talking about and as a matter of fact since fall update the whole guide is much faster than it's ever been for me.
Your controller thing could be batteries low? Are they wired? Are you on a WiFi connection??
I think the list that Mikey gave was great. I really think this is the last place you want to get an honest opinion of why you should keep your 360. Either way, it doesn't matter to me.. It's not like I get paid if you keep your console or not.

#5 - WTF? UI is vulger?? Completely disagree. Has this person even customized his UI to his liking?? I don't like the plain boring look of the PS3 or Wii.. I mean like the ugly RSS feed on the PS3 XMB.. looks stupid and out of place but it's so empty you couldn't help but do that.
#5a - Faceplates?? Are you kidding me??? Since when is it a requirement to change your faceplate. Just leave it stock and STFU? How can giving someone the ability to provide a little customizat...

I must be weird because I seem to be the only one excited to try this bowling game with the SiXAxix.. WiiSports Bowling was fun and I wonder how the SixAxix will compare.
Better look a million times better than Prologue because I downloaded that off the Japanese PSN and talk about a major let down. It was my first exposure to GT and with all the hype that comes from people about it I was like WTF. I know it's a demo of sorts but it didn't even look as good as PGR and nothing like the video's I've seen online of it (which I assume is some race cam playback footage and not gameplay).
I can think of a few reasons to justify a PS3 that are better...

Can we just not list the 360 in these Japanese charts any longer?? It's just too damn embarrassing.. It's not like MS isn't trying to appeal to .jp but there is no love in return. Why haven't MS fired their entire Japanese marketing dept. they obviously are not improving like one would expect. It has sold more than the original Xbox so that is a start, but sub 10k is not worth the trouble.
