If MS start investing all their money their getting from live into the games and make more exclusive and a wider selection of games, then I'll think about it.

Most of these people are just youngsters that tow the line and think their clever for it.
Think about it. Most people when they get past a certain age will start to focus on what’s important in life like career, family or a purpose.

With the number of years between PS1, 2 and 3 we went from CD - DVD to BlueRay.
With more layers on Blueray there won't be any point in updating to something else yet, seeing as there isn't anything else.
Plus one of the big arguments these days is for downloadable content only...I think all the events that happened to PSN will make all the companies think twice before going down that road.
True, if they didn't like this sort of game, why the hell did they buy it in the first place.
Maybe they might actually learn something, but I'm not holding my breath.
While choosing if you want to be good or bad is a great system for some games, it would help if it fits the game.
You don't want it for every game, because again every game when then be the same.
Sometimes putting in too many features can either ruin the game play or end up with nothing being done right.
If Sony are going to release any information, it will be on their site.
Otherwise the other sites can only guess.

I never got my email either.
Just tried logging onto the playstation and that let me reset my password and got on about 24 hours after they said the system was up.
Days later I still never saw that email.
I wish they didn't use rude pic in these things.
Bit hard to explain when they pop up on my screen at work, even if I am on my lunch break.
So something for the older people who have more than a 20 second attention span.
The only people who would have something to think about are those developing exclusively for PSN.
If you’re on both PSN and Live then you know you will still be getting income if one system is down.
But that works the other way as well, if any companies develop exclusively for Live, as I'm sure they will be reviewing what to do if the same thing happened to that system.
I love Pixel junk, these are the people who have a real reason to worry if PSN stays down.
Never mind if people can't play on line, these guys need it for their income. Hope its up again soon for them.
I would also hope that Sony would help them out if the company gets in trouble due to this.

Working in an IT company that deals with supplying a service that if it goes down is down time for that client, We've learnt that often when companies that rely on these services will often exaggerate the amount that they have lost.
I think you will find that the "Money" they say they have lost, will be in fact be made up once the service is back on line. If people are going to buy it, then they’re going to buy it...regardless of if they have to wait a little ...
How does everyone getting a 1st class seat effect you who has already paid for a 1st class seat but then get an extra month in that 1st class seat?
If you were trying to get people onto PSN+ then this is a good thing, because now they can expereance it first hand.
Maybe more will take it up when the deal ends.
As for those who are already on it, you get a months free.
If you cancelled it, then it wouldn't matter if they deleted it.
Due to the share amount of information taken, I would expect most people will not see anything happen to their card because of the share number of accounts the people who stole them would have to go through.
Plus if someone was doing that, it would only be a matter of time before all these transactions were traced back to them.
It's more like that they would be selling the inform...
How about mixing it up so that you can get smaller games for cheaper and get bigger high budget games as well.
