The issue isn't that either company is pushing out these social services, group chat, videos, etc, etc. To use social functions requires to be connected and to be connected means you have to be on line when you use them.
Fact is if I wanted to play my single player game and not use the social features, I can....we all can NOW....even with an xbox.
"ps4 sales do not benefit sony"....ya ganna have to explain that one to me???
Sales by any other name, still smells as sweet.
So what your saying is the amount of stock in the shop forces the store to lower the price so they can sell them in order to open new space for new products.
Where digital, there is no space other than on a hard drive, so no need to lower price to get rid of it.
When I updated my OS harddrive to SSD, I never looked back.
Windows starts up so fast now that it would be painful to go back to HDD.
Being hard is what makes Dark souls what it is.
You won't get the same feeling of accomplishment if your running through killing everything with two hits.
But in saying that, that's dark souls....hopefully Deep down will have a different spin on things.
As long as the game play is good, then I'll be happy.
When Warhawk came out for PS3, that was full price and Multiplayer only.
That was one of the best games I played.

I did have dreams of monsters exploding into coins after playing pixel junk monsters for to long.
If it's going to be a long game, it's going to need a good story to keep you going to want to see the end.
Nothing wrong with a long game if your enjoying it. Dark souls comes to mind when I think about a good game that takes a long time to complete but the game play and reward system is so good that it holds you till the end.
@ DOMination
That's an interesting fact...so the infrastructure is there.
Did I say it was OK???
It would be better if everyone had free access to all games.
But if you remember, the subject of this item was "bringing some xbox exclusives back on xbox one".
This is exactly what Xbox needs, but I was pointing out that what is required is for MS in invest in first party to do this.
Firstly this will bring more exclusive games to xbox brand as well as making sure that after 2 years, the number of exclusives d...
I hope so, would really help push sales.
Get to see Kratos poke me in the eye first hand...Excellent!
I never said that Sony hasn't done this.
But the fact remains that Sony has a lot more 1st party studios making their exclusive content.
This is what I'm suggesting MS invest their money into.
At the moment their buying exclusivity from 3rd party companies to get games like Titanfall, so there is an example right there.
Nothing wrong with that every now and then if they are trying to establish their next console. but it would benefit everyone i...
If your investing towards opening new devs to create new IPs or bring back old ones, then I'm all for it.
Just don't do the old thing of throwing money at current devs only to take games from others!
Make us bigger a better games rather than blocking others from getting whats already out there.
Fact of the matter is the game came out, people played it and most people loved it.
I can't consider a game over hyped if the hype happened after the game came out.
Your not going to pease everyone, but from the feed back from the gaming community, ND were on the right path with this one.
I'll have to remember that one.
All these people who keep arguing about if they are zombies or not have missed the point that ND were trying to do.
Their just a vehicle for the story. The primary entertainment value is in the story and it is brilliantly written with a much more mature focus than a lot of games we see at the moment and is what people are really crying out for.
The mechanics of the game aren’t that new, basically uncharted with a more stealth approach. But it is enjoyable and the difficulty ...
My trick is start to download it and then cancel it, that way it will sit in your download history.
So when you have finished a few more games and opened up a bit more space, even if the game is no longer listed in the current PSN+ games, you can still get it from your list of previously downloaded items. As long as your still on PSN+, you will still be able to download and play it for free.
