Yeah having a catalog that spans from now to the mid 90's or even further back with some of the great emulation for older "pc" platforms is not many games.

Phinch is only asking how a small group of people can create such a large map with no resources and help. No one is necessarily bashing Rockstar, or saying what they did with GTA IV was a small thing.

Advertising is left entirely to the publisher in the PC's case, there is NO subsidy from larger parent companies.
People need to stop referring to PC as if there was an equivalent to MS, Sony or Nintendo. It's just not there.
If only you needed to upgrade to the latest and greatest to have great performance and visuals in PC games.
Everything seems to run just about the same on my girlfriends Core i5 750, GTX 460, 4gb of ram compared to my much newer PC. Newer hardware is WASTED on console ports, I know people running Core 2 Duo's and Core 2 Quads and they still run 99.9% of games just fine.

Yeah, Uncharted 3 is just riddled with some minor flaws. It's nothing serious, it's what I would expect out of a real beta for a major release. Thats why they open these things up to the masses, to make sure I don't end up clipping into a pillar again on launch day.

As a Omnigamer, no ones butthurt. The PC has lots of advantages over the consoles, it's just aggravating when people post BS reasons for their platform of choice being better then the another.
The 2000 dollar computer and needing to upgrade every 6 months are great examples of people spouting crap.

None of those mods were developed on the PS3, the mod capabilities were useless without the PC version of the game and the PC version having a large community.
I would also love for you to PM me a list of other PS3 games with the same native M/KB support and mod support. I'm fairly certain that list will be small, maybe if the console version of UT3 sold better other developers would have adopted it.

His Samaritan example is bogus, seeing as how that AMAZING looking tech demo was being run on hardware available right now. Expensive sure, but who is to say Nvidia or AMD's next line of cards will require that kind of down payment to experience that?
