And like clockwork....sigh. Socom 2 was remade but renamed Confrontation. It had everything S2 had, and had almost everything the community demanded from Slant Six. The fact is that SOCOM 1/2/3 were online titles from a different age, and it's an age people aren't going to revisit.
Something this game unfortunately DESPERATELY needed.
It's pre production nothing about it is final. If it was they would have shown it off at E3, nothing about the Wii U aesthetic look is set in stone.
lol, it's the pre production Wii U.
Erm, there was never the option to have Aim assist on CoD in the PC MP.
You can still run anything on Vista if you really want, hell how many people still use XP? Moentjers, the most you will have to throw into a PC purchased around this point when the next consoles drop is a video card.
In 05 my Athlon XP 2200+ at 1.8ghz with 512mbs of ram and a Geforce 4 MX440 was still able to run CoD2 and other games released in the same time period as the 360. If the motherboard supported PCI-E instead of AGP I would have been able to just throw in a newer c...
My PSN ID is TheManiacsGnome, you assume far to much.
I don't need to play Heavy Rain anymore, once you beat it once it's done, what else is there to do? I would really love to play MAG if it didn't involve a long ass wait for a Domination game unless you play at a specific time. Funny thing was I didn't really care that it had 256 players it was the teamwork I found awesome about that game. If you look at the way the maps in the game are designed they never a...
Phishing is basically using your account id and password on a website made to look like a MS website. I've had my own account compromised by logging into my hotmail account on a computer infected with a keylogger, it's also becoming increasingly common for people to use social services to find clues for peoples secret answers.
All of these things are largely out of Microsofts hands, they cannot control how diligently you protect your personal information on things lik...
While somewhat true, I can't purchase L4D for my PS3. PC is a neutral party, we're like the Swiss.
To many people playing CoD, Activision couldn't even prepare for the demand a CoD statpage was going to generate. Do you really think they wont lowball the dedicated servers?
Er...Halo has more then 5 on 5. I guess Big Team Battle isn't your cup of tea. Either way, I enjoyed your idea that Heavy Rain was unique even if it's really a spiritual successor to Indigo Prophecy. But hey, you knew that.. you're qualified to talk about shit.
Exclusives aren't better by default, thats a pretty silly way to think.
Yeah the PS3 is still priced so high, even 5 years later this is still the reason for anything "negative" surrounding the PS3. /s
Move Along.
@Strongman
Everyone on N4G is to busy using their 80inch TV's to notice something is on the PC.
Strongman, I'm on your side man. The moment I found out Metal gear Solid was also available on the PC I was like "Now this game isn't as good as it was before I learned this.". The same can be said for what you listed above, once the PC port was released they all of a sudden became really bad games.
What a surprise a Blizzard PC game on top.
Kaveti that is such broken logic, paying to use your cellphones data to pay a bill is stupid because you've already paid for that bandwidth. Microsoft merely charges you to use their network, something they have every right to do and if you don't want to pay it go right ahead and don't.
Must have been all those Kevin butler ads or the Marcus er whatever PSP ads. Those were really aimed at making me feel adult...
You're talking about Rush, which isn't Battlefield but GG anyhow.
Skill left CoD with CoD4, it's been a childs game since CoD4. CoD2 is forever its peak, where everything wasn't handed to you.
@MrWidz
Considering the biggest improvement to CoDTech came in 2007 and it's more or less been the same thing since, where Source games consistently look much better then the one that preceeded it.
Counter Strike Source Vs Day of Defeat Source, one looks FAR better then the other, same with HL2 I can see a clear progression from HL2 to Episode 2. Portal 2 literally blows HL2 or even L4D2 out of the water, you used an AWFUL example.

It was a different time for online shooters, SOCOM as it was would not drum up the same following. You seem to forget SOCOM 1 was launched at a time when it was either SOCOM or Tribes: Aerial Assault for online shooters on the PS2.
