Have we seen that the AI is going to be better? The enemies in Far Cry 2 make my head hurt.

Exactly, it's really the publishers and developers who continue to develop mainly for the console. Why wouldn't they? People who would never buy a game 10 years ago, are now. People who were to good to play games, do now. But mainly on a PS3 or 360, not a PC
The PC isn't necessarily viewed by a lot of people as a thing that plays the latest and greatest games. Most would look me in the eye and tell me there is no way a PC game looks better then Uncharted 2 or Kill...
Halo is still scripted, and even on Legendary I find Brutes and Elites staring at walls. Halo is great, but it's still got problems there.
Arma 2 is AI, and even then all of the patrols IIRC are scripted. Even with that in Arma 2 it still offers one of the most unpredictable War Games available on any platform. That's what makes amazing AI better for SP games, replayability through unpredictable and challenging enemies that aren't challenging through extreme numbe...
It's probably not going to be released here, I agree that sex shouldn't be a games selling feature but disagree that this is anyway the meat of the game. Any person who has at some point in their life come into contact with a real live vagina won't be drawn to purchase something like this because of a well done dress up game.

Yeah, it is a mean list. I only ever got the get 150 kills without a TK, but I'm fairly sure the game launched without trophies so that is probably why.
It is, I got to I think the third mission and just stopped. That games dumb, really really dumb.
No mention of Medievil? Come on guys, Medievil is awesome and it's one of the few PSone classics I don't still have in disk form.

I'll be enjoying both, Ruin looked like a lot of fun and I always loved those kinds of games on consoles.

Steam isn't a platform, it's a program that allows me to seamlessly game with my GAMING friends. I do all the other things you mentioned with people...in the room. Voice commands too, "pass the remote" is awesome.
The fact that it has sales, that do "annihilate" the competition is just gravy. Oh I don't pay for it, unlike XBL or my PS+.
