Yeah, everyone's playing emulators. It's Nintendo Everything, but I totally think that your statement is totally rational.
Because emulators fall under the umbrella of native PC gaming. Also telling us what settings you are running WoW at means nothing, you're running it at 2 fps for all we know. WoW also isn't PC gaming, have a nice day.
@Punisher99
Which is the same price as Kinect and you are also omitting the cost of the Nav Stick, while not required, holding a PS3 controller is not all that comfortable.
Move bundle+Extra Wand+2 nav sticks was over 200 dollars Canadian. That's not including the software I purchased either. Both the Kinect and the Move are hefty investments, I really don't see how the price of Kinect can be held against it.
Right, because most console games aren't released on the PC as well.
I get a pretty good laugh at everyone saying Heavy Rain has a smart story, it didn't mesh in any cohesive way. Some characters motivations weren't made apparent and so in the long run most of the actions they took over the course of the game made no sense.
It's far from the worst game ever, or even the worst of the year saying that about HR is completely unfair. But it certainly needs to be looked at a bit more objectively by some people.
Most modern TV's have DVI inputs and most modern graphics cards have HDMI out. So everything connects just as easy as a console, second step is your control method.
Lap boards can work well, you can also easily plug in either a 360 controller (Wireless adapter available too) or purchase a bluetooth dongle and pair your Dual Shock 3 with it using motion in joy (google it) which will then just emulate a 360 controller.
Finishing all that you will be greeted...
The article says that Sony hasn't said what the parameters for being sent the card are. Odds are it's random, or whoever downloaded the 15th anniversary theme is entered in a drawing, something along those lines.
I do like the phantom disagree for your comment on how a Supporter of Playstation, doesn't need to be a subscriber to PS Plus. Thats like saying you weren't a PLaystation supporter if you weren't a Playstation underground subscriber.
Neither does Nintendo, and what does this even have to do with the competition? Can't one company make one nice gesture without someone slinging mud in either direction?
Oh don't worry I loathed it too, boring gameplay (Deny it all you like but it's true), AWFUL Voice acting and the lines themselves vary from awful to terrible.
There was no positive to Final Fantasy XIII.
Oh my.
Dear boy, how have I treated anyone poorly? Am I treating you or this HHG character poorly because I'm pointing out that you're wrong? I'm pointing out that a debate or discussion doesn't work like "Well I believe it's true so it's true".
The tech he is citing does not do the things he says it does and it doesn't change the software being run in any real way. He posts it for us all to see, and if he's spouting ...
He gets flamed for saying increasingly stupid things and acting like a moron on his show. He also just said 240hz tv's make games look better so take from that what you will.
Someone please sit this boy in front of a High end PC and clamp his eyes open until he stops repeating his nonsense.
No, no, no, no....
Thats how CHILDREN debate, not how adults do it. You know by bringing facts to the table and having a rational discussion about the pro's and con's of the technology.
Oh it's also nothing even approaching the difference between 480P and 720P.
Not disagreeing with you bud, this just doesn't seem worthwhile to anyone so it's beyond me how something like this gets approved.
Most entertainment media is moving away from physical copies, what will you do then?
Of course customer service staff are always privy to the release dates on all games, even un announced ones! Video game journalism is an absolute joke, this would have been announced months ago if it was only 2 months away from release.
5.2.2 256 players had been around in a FPS for some time now, Tribes 2 had a mod for 256 players back in the day.
As for the commitment thing, yeah MAG is definitely a more difficult game to play then something like CoD or BC2 but it's really no harder then your first time playing SOCOM online. People just like having things handed to them in games now, it's pretty unlikely we'll ever see another really unforgiving FPS.
It is f-ing not, nothing was ever fixed in the first SOCOM. Patches in SOCOM 2 were few and far between and SOCOM 3 had awful maps anyways so I didn't play it nearly as much.
People have those nostalgia blinders on for SOCOM all the time, and it's pretty sad. Gamesharking in online matches, anyone?
Dual Shock 3 is overall easier, Move allows for minor corrections in aim. Honestly the motion control thing is much better suited for Third Person shooters, RE5 is EASY with the move and I'm sure SOCOM will also use it much better then MAG atm.
And yes MOVE does start to strain my hand like Herkutti said, I'm not sure if it's the shape or size of the move controller.
Good comment, would read again.
