I said the exact same thing in a review I did, it manages to be creepy without being over the top with the gore and things like that.
I don't ever get scared over games, but I did feel odd and creeped out while playing Alan Wake.
WHEN Nintendo decides to release a new console, which I don't think will be for a couple of years, it will probably offer Wii controls as well as standard controls and should also be comparable with the other consoles as far as power goes.

I have to admit Treyarch really supports the hell out of their games, though I tend to enjoy the IW games a bit more, they lack the follow through that TA has.
I understand America isn't the World, but neither is Japan, I think some of these people are just looking to make Sony look good by posting these stories, it's no surprise a Japanese product is doing well in Japan........
I am so hoping that Alan Wake 2 gets revealed at E3 this year by Microsoft.
I have a solid feeling Alan Wake 2 could be the Xbox 360's new killer franchise and app. So many people only recently have gotten Alan Wake and now realize what a great and amazing game it is. Glad it's getting the recognition it deserves and they seem to be moving ahead with the sequel.
I am guessing Sony saw the trouble was more then it was worth by bringing so much attention to the problem. No matter how big you are, you can always be brought down a peg or two.

Bad economy and a pricey item make it hard to justify buying one, I still did but obviously not in Japan.

That's a hell of a deal on the 360s and Kinect. $250 for both is amazing. Great price for people not familiar with Xbox or Kinect to jump.
I personally think if Kotor were remade it would have a better home on the 360. Not to start anything, the rest could all be PS3 only as far as I'm concerned, but KOTOR was the reason I bought a XBOX.

Ya, I loved that song, Microsoft did a game with fame with those guys about a year or so ago. You never know who you might end up playing against online in all honesty.
Not every company releases info on their games two years ahead of time, Nintendo and Microsoft both hold back their announcements. I think we for sure get a HD remake of Halo CE this year to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the franchise.
I would expect Halo 4 straight up next year around the Holidays. I do foresee a much, much bigger exclusive year from Microsoft next year though.
It's possible, I wouldn't mind it going down that way. I do feel we might get a Halo Wars 2 soon, I think 343 wouldn't even have to work on it honestly.
I would love it to expand on what Halo Wars 1 did and also allow for use with Kinect without dumbing down any of the other features.
It could also be that Halo CE remake was made by a different studio altogether, but I prefer to hope that 343 used the Reach engine to make the remake.
Did something like this for charity locally here in Florida not too long ago, wasn't nearly as long but we did 24 hours straight. Managed to raise some money for Make a Wish as well.

Mass Effect is my favorite series, Mass Effect 2 was my favorite game of 2010 with Alan Wake and Metro 2033 right behind it, but I feel EA is messing with what made and makes Bioware so great.
