Already have a PS3, but anything with online I have to play on XBL. Super glad I stuck with my gut on that one.
Amazing game! The online is a lot of fun. Almost takes me back to the days when a buddy would come over and we'd play against each other.
My bad, thought someone who fights dogs, then slits the losers throats and electrocutes other dogs and oh by the way spreads herpes without telling his partners is the definition of douche...
Judging by your recent comments I'd say you are a troll and PS3 fanboy. Alan Wake certainly wasn't short. It took me a little over 15 hours to beat it. How many single player games do you know that take that long? Not many, even games like Uncharted 2 and God of War can be beat in under 9 hours.
At least try to come up with some realistic lies.
I doubt many other networks store peoples critical information in plain text form. SMDH.
Nope.
Good, Vick is a douche.
You are saying losing 24 billion, people's confidence, dev's confidence, being sued by numerous people and having your stock plummet isn't a big deal?
I wouldn't expect miracles when/if PSN get's back up. If Sony were planning on giving people something like party chat, I think it would have been years ago, their is obviously some sort of red tape around it, Microsoft owns some of the rights and Sony probably wont be able to offer that.
I...
Funny how 99% of the time PS3 people hate the guy, then he says a couple of pro PS3 things and now everyone loves him? lol
Funny how that works, almost the same deal with Gabe from Valve, hypocrite must not be in the N4G people's vocab.
Possibly tied up in courts for a while, losing possibly 24 BILLION and the trust of their brand, which was already suffering when when you consider their current console with the last two generations. Things are looking bleak. I know people here (Mostly because it's PS3 fanboys) wont like to admit it, but Sony messed up.
Sony should have never sued or went after hackers publicly, they should have made sure they had everything secure and just released updates and things li...
Well obviously they are posting here on N4G more then every before! Seriously.
Well I never used PSN on my PS3 in the first place, so no I wouldn't trade mine in. However on Craigslist in my area over the last few days there has been an influx of PS3's for sale, very cheap I might add. $140 for a 320 gig PS3 ect.... I also have seen a lot of PS3's for trade. People wanting an Xbox 360 straight up.
There are monopoly laws, the class action suit against the NFL actually have a very good chance of succeeding, which is why it's gone on for so long.
If there is a class action suit I'd join up. Like I did with the Madden Law Suit. No way should one company be able to purchase the NFL license by themselves.
Well having some recent flops on their hands like the PSP GO and the slow attach rate to the billions Sony is spending on 3-D, I'd say this latest bit of news will sway investors.
If you lose the people's confidence you tend to fall. I can say with almost 100% certainty that not many people will have a credit card hooked to their account when/if PSN gets restored.
Deservingly so. Not only should their stock drop, but they should be investigated. Waiting almost a week before warning people about their private information is a big no, no.
Going to be tough for them to recover, investors aren't going to be so quick in the future to work with Sony.
Anyone else starting to notice that Microsoft is being a lot more lenient with publishers and developers lately? I have a feeling this E3 is going to be full of surprises from MS.
Sony will seriously be lucky to get PSN working the way it was before, let alone new features added. New features takes more time and if they were going to add these things, I believe they would have a while ago.
Probably a case of wishful thinking.
Actually MS does own the Cross Party chat patent. They also own the Drop in, drop out co op feature. So any game that has that pays MS royalties.
